The townhouse is part of the Little Harbor Luxury resort and marina, located in Ruskin Florida, about half way between Tampa and Sarasota.
The 350 acres Little Harbor Resort is a small community with a hotel, restaurants, lounge, tiki bar, secluded beach, marinas and assorted recreational amenities.
Our townhouse has three bedrooms, 3 full baths, and sleeps up to eight people. The townhouse has delightful furnishings, with flat screen TVs in each bedroom, a full kitchen, washer, dryer, linens, towels, and all appliances. It includes local phone service, high speed internet access, cable, and more.
The back of the townhouse is right on the waterfront (not oceanfront), with terrific views of the bay. You can watch the ships float in and out of the bay as you relax on one of the balconies.
Bahia beach is located just yards away and features the Mangrove restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At the Tiki bar, you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Tampa Bay as you listen to live music several nights a week.
Activities include heated pool, Jacuzzi, private beach, tennis courts, fitness center, basketball, volley ball, children's playground, mariner and fishing pier.

Our family loved this townhouse and it was a big reason why we had such a wonderful vacation. From the beginning we noticed all the little things we usually didn't have at our other condo stays. This townhouse came with a garage and a garage door opener for your car. That was very convenient for us to store our golf clubs and tennis racquets. Our two teenage boys each got their own room and bathroom. Each closet had two luxurious bathrobes that we used when going to use the hot tubs. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware and dining ware. The condo in general had items available in cabinets that you normally wouldn't see like batteries, fingernail polish remover, sewing kit, cleaning supplies, detergent, and dryer sheets. The whole place was very clean and comfortable. The owner was helpful and responsed quickly to questions and our deposit was returned in a timely manner. He e-mailed me more pictures when I had questions. The pictures on the website don't do this place justice. Every bedroom has their own tv and deck and it is very open and well decorated. The complex had everything we look for in a vacation. We played tennis every morning and there was golf nearby. Our boys loved seeing the small alligators on the golf course. We also played horseshoes and shuffleboard next to the inlet waters. The complex has 3 swimming pools and 2 hot tubs. There are outside areas for grilling, an outdoor fireplace, and a perfect spot near the beach to watch the sunset while relaxing next to the gas firepit. We saw tons of marine life. There are manatees all around in the harbor. If you ever wanted to see one you could find one in a minute or two. We saw dolphins, jelly fish, sting rays and horseshoe crabs. My husband caught lots of fish on the docks and pier with the fishing pole he brought. The complex office will loan out items like fishing poles and tennis racquets if you don't want to bring your own. You can also get a basketball as they have a court for that as well. There are also kayaks and wave runners for rent at the beach. We were quite active during this vacation but we did find a little time to go to the fitness room. It has a nice view of the pool and lots of equipment to use. We love the area. It is so beautiful and well kept. We would recommend this area and especially this townhouse to any family who enjoys beauty and nature. This place is perfect whether you are looking to be active or ready to relax.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, tastefully decorated townhouse. Little Harbor resort is quiet and relaxing, with all the resort ammenities. Its central location was ideal for us. We enjoyed sightseeing on the days that we didn't relax on the beach or poolside. Jet skiing and kyaking was fun and the fantastic thunderstorm was a bonus. We enjoyed watching the many osprey and listening to the manattee splashing in the channel at night. I reccomend this location and the owners are pleasant and helpful.

Little Harbor is a very quiet location developed in 2006 on the south east side of Tampa Bay. The development is 2 miles west of Hiway 41 at Ruskin. When compared to other locations on the west side of Florida this is probably the least hectic of all. We chose this beautiful condo because of the proximaty of our 2 daughters (one in Brandon and the other in Riverview). I highly recommend this property for its size and cleanliness. I would rent this again, but will probably look to go back to Ft Myers Beach next winter and have our kids and new grandson visit us down there as we have enjoyed many winters at Ft Myers Beach. The bar and grill at Little Harbor is very good but dining is limited in Ruskin (fast food is near I-75 and Sun City or better dining back north at Apollo Beach). When we rent a vacation home longer term (for the month) we tend to eat in and don't consider going out a major aspect of our time in a warmer climate (we live 50 miles south of Chicago). I rated our time as excellent and communication with the owners as appropriate as was needed. Thank you, Mike and Susan.
