We rented this house for our yearly Thanksgiving family gathering. It was very spacious and was a great fit for our family. We really enjoyed the large eating area, spacious kitchen, and the lakefront patio. I would definately vacation here again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I rented this house for my wedding so our families could be together =D We had a wonderful time! the house is amazing, it has everything you might need and more, and Sheldon was always very helpful (we called him 2 times and once it was kind of late and he still picked up the phone) Thanks a lot for everything =)

We stayed at the house for a large family reunion. This house is perfect for these kinds of family functions: it is very spacious and well laid out, so that even with 11 people it didn’t feel crowded and everyone could do their own thing and not be in each other’s way. The description of the house is very accurate. It looks exactly like in the pictures – spacious and attractive. As you walk into the front door, your first view is through the open dining and living space towards the lake, and the view is spectacular. Our most favorite features of the house were the sun room which becomes one with the backyard when the French doors are open and the lake! Swimming and boating in the lake made our stay that much more perfect. The house is near grocery shopping, and the malls are also nearby. There is also a park with a dog run not too far from the house (for those who need it).

We enjoyed our stay. Only problem with hot water was quickly rectified by owner. Very clean, comfortable. Only suggestion would be an owners book that gave local info, phone numbers etc.

My friends and I came here for my birthday weekend and there were 8 of us in our late 20's. The place is very nice and comfortable. The best part was the deck outside and the open space plan. It was cool because we could all chill in the living room or sit together in the large dining room and have a good time. The location is also pretty good. Not too far from Miami or Lauderdale and relatively close to the airports. There is also a nice mall, grocery stores, and other shops very close by. All in all, it was a good experience, and we enjoyed ourselves.

This place is impressive. Luxury accommodations at a very reasonable cost! I am not sure what I liked best. It was between the beauty and spaciousness of the interior, and the comfort and serenity of the exterior. Great neighborhood. Gazebo/lounge area is outright soothing. I truly enjoyed fishing/canoeing around that huge lake (not to mention my own private beach). It broke my heart to leave. We will definitely be back again!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The layout of the entire house is beautiful. It is definately a place that I would make plans to stay at again in the near future. The property owner Mr. Sheldon is very punctual and made sure we had everything that we needed. He definately makes sure that his customers are satified and it is greatly appreciated. If you and your family or friends are looking at finding a place to get away and relax I'd highly recommend staying at this place. Calm quiet neighborhood located not to far from Ft. Lauderdale airport and the HardRock.

Everything about this experience was amazing! From inquiring about the property, to getting into the house. The management of the property is very organized and they are very fair and nice. The house itself is amazing. I had a small baby shower for my sister there, and I got a lot of props for the location. The house is beachy, but classy, very clean and fully equipped. The rooms and shared areas are spacious, and the beach is only 10min away. Also, there is a boat that you can use to go around the lake. It is very peaceful and relaxing. You won't find a house better than this!

Was hosting some out of towners for a deep sea fishing weekend; the house had plenty of room for the whole group (8 guys) and is located nicely between both airports. The lake looked great, but we never made it out on the boat. Backyard was perfect for a BBQ. Workout room was in unattached, open air garage. Didn't use it at all, but the neighborhood was plenty safe and those who wanted to work out went running. Nothing really within walking distance so you will need a car. I would definitely stay here again as it was a bargain of a place for the price!

Comfortable, Clean and Luxurious!! Beautiful house backs up to lake in quiet neighborhood. A little out of the way for getting to South Beach for Winter Music Conference activities/meetings, but worth the added time and effort because of the quality and quiet.

Skylake was amazing! The house was beautiful and back patio wad even better. We had no trouble sleeping 11 people comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house is only a 5-10 minute drive to sunny isles beach and a short 25 minutes to downtown/south beach. The neighborhood is nice and close to the grocery store. Pretty much... This house was perfect and we would definitely go back!

Beautiful open floorplan,very spacious and relaxing,The freshwater lake is stunning,waking up to a totally relaxing view,patio area is very private and spacious.Very close to shopping at adventura mall,publix,cvs,walgreens,fast food,gas.Neighborhood is very quiet and safe.Our family totally enjoyed our stay and would definetly return and reccommend to others.

The property was very clean and spacious. The house is located in a nice, safe, residential area, close to restuarants, grocery stores, shopping and about 15 minutes from South Beach. The owner has done a wonderful job with remodeling. We enjoyed our stay and would use the house again for a future visit to Miami.

Me and my party of 10 stayed at the property and had a wonderful week. We enjoyed everything from rowing and swimming on the lake to having BBQ's on the back patio and just hanging out in the large family room. The house is close to everything that Miami has to offer. Aventura Mall is minutes away as is Hollywood Beach. Fort Lauderdale beach is less than 10 miles in one direction and South Beach is 15 miles in the other direction. We went to all of them and had an absolute blast. The pics are accurate and the place is spacious with 4 bedrooms. I think we'll be back soon and I would highly recommend the house!

SBH is the perfect vacation spot. It's spacious, elegantly appointed with modern furnishings and conventiently loacated to shopping and Miami beach. My favorite is the private beach front dock on the lake. It is just perfect for canoeing, kayaking and swimming. I swam across the lake and back with my kids, while my wife tanned on the dock. Can't wait to go back!

Me and my extended family all went down to Miami and stayed at the house on the lake. Man the 4 bedrooms were really nice and the place easily slept 10 of us. There was plenty of room in the family room and the back patio was wonderful! We spent a lot of time grilling out and swimming and row boating in the lake. The family room is all glass doors facing the patio and the lake which has some great vistas. All in all a great time was had by all!!!

Pictures do no justice for this house, it is more breathtaking in person. I have stayed at this property twice in 2009, in August and October. The layout is very comfortable and relaxing, you don't want to leave. The entire house is clean and well maintained with all modern amenities, which is a must for me and there is central air conditioning a must after a long day outside. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a soothing relaxing time and still close to the action and excitement of Miami and South Beach.
