The mountains offer cooler weather, quietness and peacefulness. I vacationed here as a child and so did my husband. There are many outdoor activities such as rafting, tubing, Cataloochee Ski lodge 15 minutes away, Ghost Town theme park is 10 min. away, Harrah's Casino is 30 min. away, many restaurants, nightlife, day spas, hiking, elk viewing in the Smokey Mountains, rafting, gem mining and much more!!
