The town itself and surrounding areas feature unlimited outdoor recreation activities year round. There are top of line golf courses, ski hills, the Nordic Centre, and numerous hiking trails along the rivers and streams throughout the city. Getting to Canmore:
By Road:
Canmore is located just outside the entrance to Banff National Park on the Trans Canada Highway (Highway #1) approximately 106 kilometers (66 miles) west of Calgary. The drive from Calgary is on a divided, double-lane highway and it takes you from the prairies, through the foothills and into the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Canmore is the first major town you'll find on your drive west through the Canadian Rockies; there are 3 exits off the Trans Canada Highway.
To get to Blackstone Mountain Lodge take your second exit off the Trans Canada Highway (Exit #91) on to Highway 1A. Highway 1A quickly turns into Bow Valley Trail by staying to the right. Follow Bow Valley Trail until Kananaskis Way (your 3rd right). Blackstone is located at 170 Kananaskis Way.

By Air:
If you are flying into Calgary, you will arrive at the Calgary International Airport, a 1.5 hour drive to Canmore. Car rentals are available at the airport. Alternatively, there are many shuttle services that will take you directly to Canmore. Visit the Calgary Airport website for further information.
Keys can be picked up at the check-in desk, a credit card is required for the cleaning fee and for any damage caused to the unit or the building during your stay. Check in is 4pm, check out 11am. The cleaning fee is $73+gst for a stay up to 5 nights, $78+gst for 6 nights or more, this fee is paid directly to the resort. Daily cleaning can be arranged if requested at check in, additional charges will apply.

Excellent year round vacation resort nestled in the Canadian Rockies, only a one hour drive on the Transcanada hi-way from Calgary. Numerous airlines feature reasonable airfare from all major destinations. Canmore is a unique Nordic community with a small town look and feel, but with modern amenities, 5-star restaurants and services. Home to Silvertip & Stewart Creek golf courses, and the Canmore Nordic Centre. Sunshine Village and Lake Louise are a short commute and provide world renown downhill skiing and snowboarding. Banff National Park is only a 20 min drive west, and makes for an excellent day trip.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Blackstone Mountain Lodge uniquely features a year round outdoor heated pool and two spas. There is an outdoor patio area with gas BBQ grills, patio tables and chairs, that can be used by the guests on a first come first serve basis. The resort has a multi-purpose room that can be rented for special events (ie. weddings, family reunions...etc). The suite features flat screen TV/DVD's in the living room and master bedroom, and an in-suite washer/dryer. The unit also has a full equiped kitchen with dining area, as well as a computer desk with wireless internet.
