Located just South of Fayetteville near Devil's Den State Park and Lake Ft. Smith on scenic Highway 71 (extremely popular with bikers!). Four bedroom, 2 bath 2300+ square feet mason stone house with tin roof .
Three pastoral acres on top of historic Mount Gayler with plenty of available parking both covered and uncovered. Fantastic views of the Boston Mountains. Outdoor furniture on site with lots of space to entertain both indoors and out including BBQ grill. This property is fully furnished with comfortable beds and sleeps 7 with ample floor space for sleeping bags, etc.
Fully functional kitchen and all linens provided, washer/dryer, even an iron and ironing board! Everything you will need for your get-a-way! Pets welcome with additional deposit. Smoking permitted outside. Ask for Deede.

Year Purchased: 2005
We are parents of 4 beautiful children (Dane-18, Holden-13, Jordan-10 & Blair-9). My husband works for a huge cable company here in Northwest Arkansas, is in the Army Nat'l Guard and I am a substitute teacher in the very school district that our children attend. We have 2 miniature dachshunds Jewel & Riley and too many cats to count! We've been married nearly 20 years and, luckily, are still best friends and absolutely LOVE adventuring and trying new things together (most recently, we became a Biker couple! Can't wait for Bikes, Blues & BBQ!!!!
Why the Owner Chose Fayetteville
We didn't exactly choose this location . . . it chose us! We came up from Texas to visit my husband's parents and fell in love - with everything about the place! The view, the feeling of coming home to a retreat and leaving the fast-paced city behind at the end of a hard-days' work; the authenticity of the people and the character of the nearby cities. We have been blessed to travel around the U.S. and occupy various cities but NW Arkansas will always have our heart! We plan to retire here because it is the only place in all of our travels that has truly felt like "home".
The Unique Benefits of this House
My favorite pastime has to be watching the sun rise from our front porch swing while the deer graze in our front yard. It's a little piece of heaven for me. We enjoy such phenomenal views up here on Mt. Gayler. The town of Winslow itself is a pretty tight community as well - we never go anywhere without running into someone we know and who knows us and everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand. We have a little piece of the country while being able to be close enough to the city and enjoy all the benefits that both have to offer. It's the best of both worlds!
