A friend and I spent the most magical two weeks at Casa Del Angel in April 2009 and we can't wait to make it our annual ritual. "FRIENDLIEST PLACE IN ALL OF MEXICO "
I arrived at the Casa del Angel in San Miguel de Allende with my mother and sister and immediately took a nap in the most comfortable room I have ever slept in. The fireplace was on and the room was cozy and when I awoke I thought I had been there for at least a week instead of just a couple hours.

“WARM WELCOME, ELEGANT & CLASSY DECOR, SERENE AND RESTFUL ENVIRONMENT”
This lovely home combines warm welcome, tasteful furnishings, wonderful breakfasts, and (in practically every room) beautiful original art by local artists. There are private terasses to boot. It is located 15 minutes (max) on foot from all the attractions of the "Centro". I felt very much at home and will stay there again on my next visit to SMA. I highly recommend Casa del Angel.

The owner of Casa del Angel is Senor Lou an avid collector of Mexican art. In 2007, he built Casa del Angel or "House of the Angel" as a sanctuary where in to relax and display his collection of paintings by local SMA artists. He is very active in the retirement community and hosts many of the town’s social events at Casa del Angel.
