  Sun, sand, surf and a private pool! What more could anyone ask for? Four adults spent a week at this beautiful oceanfront oasis, and one week was not long enough. We explored the tide pools, watched the surfers and yachts passing by, met Lolita at Lola's, saw monkeys, wild horses drink from the pool, but also plenty of time to chill in the pool and laze in the hammock. Casa Loca was definitely a highlight of the trip, the house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Jarrod is an excellent manager, keeping in touch to ensure everything was running smoothly but still respecting our privacy. Our next trip to Costa Rica will definitely include Casa Loca!

  I was able to stay for a week at Casa Loco - I stayed there almost 3 years ago, & the house has grown older very well. It's even more comfortable, and the outside landscaping makes it more private & self-contained. We had a great time - still fabulous sunsets, seashells, monkeys, body-surfing. This time we also did some snorkeling within walking distance, which was perfect. Went out to Mary's restaurant for dinner - really good food; enjoyed the beach & Lola the pig at Lola's restaurant. Lots of activities available to appeal to almost anyone. Thanks Casa Loco!

  Wow, what a great experience, I just wish we would have had more time to stay in that beautiful house, it was exactly as it is described. We went with our adult children and their spouses and had a trip of a lifetime. Jarrod was extremely helpful with the activities we wanted to do and made the experience even better with his continued assistance. We hope to go back again sometime soon and I highly recommend this house and Jarrod.

  Our extended family rented Casa Loca this past Christmas and it was an amazing experience. We have been to Costa Rica several times before, but this was by far the best house and location. We surfed, swam, walked, rode horses, had massages, ziplined, and ate and drank well! The house was absolutely perfect and the views just can't be beat. Jarrad and Meghan could not have been more helpful. We loved it and can't wait to return.

  We absolutely loved casa loca. We had 6 guys on a surf trip, everyone had their own room, and one to spare. The place has a wonderful view, awesome pool, and even tv and wi-fi which we did not use. Its very close to many surf breaks which we drove to, and of course you can just make the 5 minute walk to playa negra. The manager, Jarrod, was awesome, he helped us with more than one mishap, including one of the dummys forgetting his passport at the house, and set up ziplines and boat trips etc. We will def be coming back and staying at casa loca, i cannot put into words how much we were stoked on this place. The only complaint I have is that we didn't get enough SEABASS time!

  Our stay at Playa Negra for our entire group was awesome. For half the group being hardened surf trip veterans and the other half being first time tourists in costa rica Casa Loca and Rancho Playa Negra turned out to be the perfect destination. The house was amazing, from the pool to the kitchen and rooms,plus the views were always postcard worthy. The surfers could hit the waves when ever they want and while the non surfers could relax by the pool or stroll down the beach or around town. The workaholics were able to check their emails and make Skype calls with the speedy Internet service as well......Jarrod was the best!! From lining up a personal cook for us to helping us book adventure tours, Jarrod always took time to respond to us right away or stop by the house. I have and would recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy an amazing house in a tropical paradise that has surfers in the family. I know we we will be coming back soon!

  We were lucky enough to stay at Casa Loca recently, and it was a wonderful and relaxing respite from traveling. The Playa Negra area is private and realtively quiet, even during the busy Easter holidays. The house itself is new and beautiful, spacious and cool; the kitchen is large and well-planned. The house overlooks the ocean, and the sunsets are fabulous. There is room for quite a few people, though it can be perfect for just two. The pool is a wonderful spot to view birds from, check out the night stars, and stay cool. The beach is great for surfing, body boarding, or just hanging out in the great waves. One can walk a short way down the beach to a great little shore-front restaurant for a change of pace. We'll return at some point; I'd like to try it during the rainy season. I highly recommend this house in particular, as well as the area.

  Our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our visit in March '10. The surfers in our group were centrally located by Playa Negra to enjoy the waves at several nearby beaches, while the ladies relaxed in the pool and had massages at the house! The house is beautiful - and very well equipped for the dinners we prepared at home. We loved the nearby restaurants as well. The location can't be beat - and the home itself is gorgeous. We are planning another trip in late June.

  Casa Loca is a beautiful home with a fabulous view over the ocean. We spent a week there and I would highly recommend it to friends going to Costa Rica. The house looks just like the picture. The house and the pool were clean and well-maintained. I spent hours on the second floor deck reading, watching the birds/the view, and just relaxing. The sound of the ocean was mesmerizing. There are great beaches and surf spots minutes away. Jarrod was a superb host. He checked in regularly to see that we had everything we needed. He directed us to local beaches, great restaurants, nearby shopping, and answered any and all questions we had.

  A real gem. Stayed here the first week of Dec.'09. Amazing home, spacious, and with all the essentials. Fantastic location with great views. And of course the famous surf of Playa Negra. Already planning a return trip.
