Casa Loca is anything but a crazy home, but this newly finished three story ocean front oasis is the perfect place to get away from the demands of a chaotic world.
Fine finishes await you on every level of this home. On the first floor, you will find yourself looking straight on to the pool, which is set against the blue Pacific Ocean. This floor has three bedrooms and one full bath. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed, the second has two single beds and the third is equipped with a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom is beautifully tiled and roomy enough to accommodate all bedrooms.
As you pass through a large, open indoor area on this first floor that has an extra refrigerator, you will find yourself at the edge of a beautifully tiled pool. This outdoor area has ample room to enjoy the sun, barbeque on the outdoor gas grill or just relax after a long day. The pool at Casa Loca is designed for family fun and is long enough for lap swimming.
Heading up the wood staircase you will enter the main living area of Casa Loca. This second floor features a well-equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, plus many appliances. The kitchen has fine wood cabinets and granite counter tops. You may just fight over who gets to do the dishes while looking out to the blue-green ocean.
Adjoining the kitchen is a spacious, open dining and living space. The dining area has a large, beautiful guanacaste wood dining table that can comfortably seat twelve guests, perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners, as well as everyday dining or family game time.
The living area is furnished with a comfortable couch and chairs, and of course, more stunning ocean views. Sliding glass doors bring you out on to the second floor wrap-around deck. This spacious ocean front deck is large enough for dining outdoors rain or shine. You can also enjoy both incredible ocean and mountain views.
Two extra rooms and a full bathroom complete the second floor living area. One room has a large flat screen with satellite television and dvd player. The satellite television includes all the extra US sports packages, so you won’t miss any of your favorite teams’ big games (NFL, NBA, and MLB). The second extra room features a spacious sitting area, and both rooms include a futon couch that can turn into a full sized bed.
Head up to the third story of Casa Loca and you will find two tranquil master bedroom suites. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed, and amazing ocean views to greet you morning and night. The private bathrooms adjoining each of the master bedrooms feature granite countertops, beautifully wood crafted vanities, and spa quality large tiled showers. This floor is completed by a private, shared, indoor/outdoor lanai, a perfect setting to read a good book, enjoy the ocean breezes and see the stars.
Casa Loca is the perfect blend of upscale finishes and homey touches. Splashes of bold color accent the rooms to brighten your stay. This house is ideal for large or small gatherings. The house is built with other homes a good distance away, making it one of the more private homes in Rancho Playa Negra.
At the end of your stay you will find the idea of ever leaving Casa Loca a positively crazy idea!

Why the Owner Chose Playa Negra
We chose to build a house in Rancho Playa Negra because, after only one visit to this incredible location, we knew we wanted to spend lots of time with family and friends, enjoying the sun, waves and ocean in this special place. Waking to the sun rising over the mountains each morning and watching it set over the Pacific each evening is magical. Each sunset is different. The days move to a peaceful pace. The people are welcoming and kind. We have much more to see in Costa Rica but all we have explored so far has been rewarding and an adventure.
