Within Eidelweiss Village, there are three ponds of various size with sandy beaches and mountainous backdrops. The ponds are used for swimming, canoeing, and sailing. There is also a playground, and a basketball court in the Village community.
The Mount Washington Valley's scenic beauty and attractions are enough to entice every member of the family. Skiers can enjoy several Ski Mountains and cross-country trails. There is also Story Land, Santa's Village, Heritage New Hampshire, museums, hayrides, the Conway Scenic Railroad, many restaurants, shops, and top name tax-free shopping outlets, as well as movie theaters. For beach enthusiasts, there are numerous lakes scattered in the area as well as scenic rivers.

We moved away from Long Island, NY 16 years ago and have loved our stay in New Hampshire every day since then. Home base for our family is in the southern part of the state, but for rest, relaxation, and the picturesque, great outdoors, it's off to Madison and the Mt. Washington Valley area. Bye bye Brooklyn & Queens!

We enjoy both the use of our getaway-house, as well as the opportunity to share it with other individuals and families that are looking for a reasonably-priced hotel-alternative in the area.
