We named our home Sea Star because we are three 'see-sters'. Originally purchased and remodeled to share with our family and friends, this home is comfortably decorated with all the thoughtful touches you will appreciate.

Lincoln City is centrally located along the Oregon Coast with easy access to surfing in Pacific City, shopping in Cannon Beach, nostalgic Seaside, and the historic town of Newport home of the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Simply put, it's quiet. And, it is super convenient to everything you'd want without having to really drive anywhere once you arrive in town. No need to cross the 101, no getting stuck in traffic, no neighbors to bother, and private off-street parking. Not to mention it's only 3 beautiful walking blocks to the best beach access in town and five blocks to the casino and shopping.

We wanted to spend our first "big" family vacation on the coast and we looked for homes to rent for about a week. When we came across the SeaStar we were excited, a good looking, contemporary home that was well priced. Our excitement was justified when we checked in, the house was very comfortable and clean, and the owners were wonderful to work with. The beach is just a couple blocks away and it is a small beach access, so it was never too busy. Our next trip to the coast will definitely include a stay at the SeaStar.

We just returned last week from a wonderful family vacation in Oregon. The Sea Star home was the perfect place for us! We have three small children (2, 5, 7) and this home provided a cozy retreat for us for four nights. The kids loved all the games, books, sand toys and pillows available for our use. My husband and I appreciated the well appointed kitchen (and outdoor grill), the cozy beds, the quiet neighborhood and really nice location. We were able to make our own meals which helped cut our vacation costs. There is a Safeway within a couple of blocks and many nice restaurants in the area. We found Lincoln City easy to navigate. We really loved the amazing beach close by (3 block walk). There is public access and a staircase leading down to a wide open beach - soft sand, cold ocean but awesome views. We had so much fun there it was hard to leave. Other things we did in Lincoln City included crab fishing in the Siletz bay, tidepooling at Road's end beach (kids loved that!), the aquarium in Newport, and shopping at the outlet mall. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking in the Lincoln City area. Darcy has been very helpful in answering all our questions both before and during our stay.

My family and I vacationed at SeaStar house June 21-27 2011. We all absolutely love the house, all the homey touches were just wonderful. My 3 yr old twins loved the open floor plan, and the fact they could "camp" in the living room. There was more then enough room for the 5 of us. My daughter referred to the house as our special gray beach house and was heart broken when we had to leave and asked if we could come back, I would definitly rent this house again. The love and care that is put in to this house is wonderful, so many little touches that make you feel like you are at home, from the pillows and throws in the living room to the nice comforters in the rooms. My family & I took a short 4 night/5 day vacation down to Lincoln City, and rented this wonderful home. Photos don't do it justice! Everything was perfect, super clean, easy to find, very quiet/relaxing, beach is a close stroll from the property. Having a deck with BBQ's was a really great option, because it got to be pretty warm outside. I will definately rent from these lovely ladies again! Thank you so much!

We spent a couple days last year at this house. The house was cleaned and close to the sand, big parking space just as listing. The house is full equipped. We like to stay at this house because it is close to the stores, casino and restaurants. My daughter likes to stay here cuz close to the sand. We already plan to book this house again for another couple days this coming up summer.

We had the most wonderful time at this home. The pictures make it look cute, but it is so much more. It felt like our own home away from home. It's perfectly decorated and SO comfortable. The wrap-around deck at the tree tops is perfect for morning coffee and evening cribbage with a glass of wine! As much as we love to go out for great food, we went to the grocery store instead...didn't want to miss a minute of relaxation at the house!

My Husband and 2 daughters and I stayed there from July 18-25. It was our first rental on VRBO and were a little skeptical sending money for our reservation. We only needed to speak with Darcy and Holly to be totally reassured that they were on the up and up. Now for the home: I just can't say enough good things about this place, it was comfortable, cozy, clean and so peaceful. Although there are neighbours around, you would never know it. My husband even woke up saying: "I think the quiet just woke me up" So if you are looking for a nice relaxing getaway, this is the place to go. You Definitely won't be disappointed.
