LA TORRACCIA 14 Lazio - Lubriano - Viterbo
Immersed in the beautiful hillsides of Lazio, which borders Umbria about 500 meters away. La Torraccia is composed of 2 buildings: the main building and a gracious dependence which is only a few steps away. Both of these buildings are refined and well furnished with comfortable furniture, “terracotta” flooring and wooden ceiling beams. Marvelous pergolas, surrounded by plants and ivy, proving a perfect set up for “al fresco” dinners. There are also secular oak trees in the garden that offer a natural shade from the Italian sun. This property is ideal for families or groups of friends that want to have a quiet and relaxing trouble free holiday. Its strategic position also enables guests to visit the towns which are close by, to bask in the natural beauty of this area, or to go on excursions to well known places such as Orvieto, Todi, Bolsena Lake or in the nearby Tuscany, not to mention that in only one hour's drive you can be in the eternal city of Rome.
PARK: The property grounds extends to about 4000 m², accessible from a private road which cuts through the estate. The garden is well kept, with beautiful lawns and colourful flowers. Other than the pergola which is equipped with table and chairs, there are also impressive secular oak trees which also offer natural shade.
SWIMMING POOL: The pool has a rectangular shape, measuring 6 m. x 12 m. with a variable depth from 1 m. to 2,90 m. The pool is surrounded by pavements in tufo (typical material from the Orvieto area), lawn with lounges, tables and chairs. There are also additional tables and chairs in the pergola. Also available at guests disposal is a changing room, outdoor shower and a service bathroom. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.
INTERIORS: The country house La Torraccia is divided on to two levels: from the ground floor entrance, on the left there is a kitchen and dining room. At the end of the dining room a French door gives access to a veranda with table, chairs and large glass windows, with splendid views of the garden and swimming pool. From here guests can enter a spacious pergola equipped with table and chairs, sheltered by plants and ivy. The ground floor also has a vast living room which has been divided into 3 areas, which are well equipped with comfortable sofa's, armchairs, library, TV, DVD and board games also on this floor there is a service bathroom. The second floor is accessible using the stone staircase (near the service bathroom). On this floor there is the night zone, made up of 4 double bedrooms (one with dividable beds), a twin bedroom (with joinable beds), 3 bathrooms with bath tubs and one with a shower. There is a space for wardrobes and a spacious terrace with “terracotta” flooring. The finishings of this property give the final touch to what is a beautiful property with “terracotta” flooring, wooden ceiling beams, furnished with a perfect mix of antique and modern furniture.

- Close to the nice town of Bagnoregio and the hamlet Civita di Bagnoregio called ' the dying town ' that is at only 15 min. from the villa and that we really suggest you ro visit as they are very ?special' sites. This area rich of artistic sites as Montefiascone, Bolsena Lake, allow to organize daily trip. The Super way A1, exit Orvieto, at only 16 km is perfect to reach all the main interesting places in central Italy, You can also exisly use train as the reailway station of Orvieto is one of the most important and it's served also by fast train ( IC,ES).
