  I brought my office team to this location for our annual meeting. After having read previous reviews, I had hoped that some of the concerns had been addressed; however, it appeared they had not. There are several little issues which need to be addressed - from making sure the dishes which are provided are clean (many had to go directly into the dishwasher & there wasn't even dishwasher soap to run it) to fixing screens and cleaning the coffee pot so that it can brew a pot of coffee in less than an hour. We conducted our meeting at the kitchen table, and there as a sticky residue that had to be cleaned off before we could use it. The upstairs shower also needs to have some work done on it, and one of the rooms had a bag of trash sitting on the bathroom counter. This could be a GREAT property if someone gave it a little TLC and updated the things that need to be addressed. Overall, the property was adequate for our needs, but it certainly wasn't what we had hoped for. As a positive - two members of our party did try out the hot tub, and they thought it was great - clean & the temperature was perfect.

  Owner response: All of your concerns have been addressed. We are now working with a new cleaning company, which came very highly recommended. For a short time a member of our staff will be going into the home before every rental to inspect the cleaning inspector's work. We highly encourage your group to come back next year.   So nice to have bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Lovely spacious living quarters and wonderful hot tub to relax in. The jacuzzi upstairs was great, also. There are several items that needed to be repaired including the air conditioning, but it did get fixed during our stay. I did report these other ammenities, so I am sure they will be checked out before the next guests stay. Thanks for opening your home to us and making it such a comfortable, great place to celebrate with family.

  I took my troop of Girl Scouts for a weekend get away and we found a gem in the Linton House. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and relax during our down times. Thank you and we look forward to staying with you again in the future.

  We are frequent renters of this house. there were a few things that needed tending to and I am sure that they will be fixed for the next group that stays. We will be returning this fall for another weekend. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

  We had my sister's bachelorette party here and it was perfect for that! 15 girls fit comfortably in the house with plenty of space and bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and plenty of linens/towels provided. We definitely were all very happy with our weekend away and would do it again here!

  This rental is perfect for multiple family groups. Everything we needed was at our fingertips and the owner was happy to answer any questions. We will definatly be back.

  My friends and I (4) couples total stayed here for the 4th weekend and it was everything we could ask for. When we needed extra amenities Chris was more than willing to bring them. Unit was very clean and spacious and the hot tub was a plus. This house actually did have 4 seperate bed rooms which was a bonus unlike others who try and use the Loft as a bedroom. We each had our own room with full bathroom, tv, mini fridge, screened balcony and plenty of personal space to make for an overall relaxing weekend. Close to a lot of attractions and close to WALLY WORLD (walmart) and the Outlet Malls. I'd highly recommend this place and would stay again in the future. This was a very pleasent transaction with no surprises so that was also a big bonus. Thank you Chris for allowing us to enjoy your home for our vacation we will connect again soon if possible and God Bless.

  Our extended family of seven adults and three children spent an early June week in this lovely home. We liked the location and were impressed with the amenities provided by the owners. As advertised, the kitchen was well equipped with appliances, cookware and tableware. The well-maintained outdoor grill made vacation cooking an easy task. The large-screen TV in the living room made it possible to share TV experiences with each other. Our favorite spot for quiet reading and for group interaction was the screened porch with a ceiling fan just off the living room. It provided an outdoor setting without the outdoor inconveniences. The bedrooms were large and attractively decorated. The bedrooms on the lower level had electric coolers that reduced the number of trips the occupants had to make to the large refrigerator on the main level. It was obvious that the owners take pride in this home. We enjoyed our vacation and would certainly consider a return visit.

  The owners of this home are remarkable! They helped us with everything that we needed! The home is very nice, we had 8 adults and 6 children, the accomodations worked out wonderfully for us. Can NOT say enough wonderful things and we WILL be back! Thank you for everything. All of this great service over a holiday weekend too (Easter), couldn't ask for anything more!

  While this house was spacious and clean, it was in need of some basic maintenance. A shower handle was missing, several doorknobs were loose, and wallpaper was peeling. I don't know that I would call this house "luxurious" as stated in the description. It doesn't appear to have been remodeled in the last 25 years. But again, the house was clean and there was plenty of room for the 11 of us who stayed there. The kids loved the hot tub and the adults enjoyed a beautiful view of the sunset from the deck. I just think this house could use a little TLC.
