Our very busy family had the good fortune of finding and staying at Olivier's beautiful beachfront home the week before Christmas for 7 days. Even though it rained for the first part of the week, the weather could not spoil our vacation in this little piece of paradise. Olivier (the owner) was always available and so warm and welcoming! The house is located on a beautiful piece of beach, 10 minutes outside of Jaco, that is frequented by local surfers, which made the mornings so memorable! Sitting with my morning coffee and enjoying the views from every part of the the home, listening to the waves, watching macaws and toucans . . . wow! The house was nicely furnished, airconditioned and beautifully designed. The back patio was the perfect gathering place to grill, swim and enjoy the outdoors. Our 7 and 5 year old children appreciated the pool because the surf can be very strong at the beach and the outdoor shower was perfect to rinse off in after playing in the sand. Victor (the on-premise caretaker)was always available to assist with anything we needed and even cut down fresh coconuts for the kids to drink coconut water. Playa Hermosa is such an amazing place, Olivier's house is wonderful and we had the best vacation ever! Watching the surfers and actually getting surf lessons ourselves was fantastic - Roni (sp?) is the best surf instructor. Everyone was so friendly. We really didn't want to leave! Thanks Olivier!!

We were in a multi-family situation and this home accommodated us perfectly. Beautiful spacious rooms with their own bath, 2 of the three bedrooms have balconies facing the ocean which provided a constant ocean breeze. The crashing of the waves is the constant background music of this terrific house. A large kitchen and dining area is very conducive for entertaining and this place has it. Most nights we stayed in and had a good time cooking and visiting together. Even the outdoor living area was comfortable and fun to be in even in the heat of the day. We've since moved to the area and wish we could afford to stay there permanently! Oliver, the owner, is a great host and lovely person to deal with. It really is an Hermosa dream come true.

We had a great time at this wonderful home in Playa hermosa. Its bit set away from everything, but that made us like it more. Only 2 real neighbors gave us the privacy we wanted with all the amenities close. Across the road from the best surfing beach break made my husband very happy to wake up to. We had an age range of 9 months to 51yrs and everyone had a great time. Close to Jaco, the jungle and Manuel Antonio, its in the perfect spot. Stunning ocean views, private pool and a gorgeous house made this a great place. We will definetly be coming back.

Very nice property, very nice owner. Positives include: proximity to beach, household amenities (wireless, satellite TV, air conditioning), accessibility to town/activities/shopping (must have a car), new house/appliances with everything in excellent working order. Negatives include: ocean too rough for swimming (surfing only), not enough towels, no cushions for outside seating, price. Overall an excellent property, though somewhat pricey. I would definitely recommend to others.

Victor, our house keeper is avilable 24/7 to make sure that you are well taking care off, whoever I will put more attention on the details you mentioned and thank you for the advise and compliment We try to stay competitive regarding the house rental fee, comparable houses are 20% to 100% higher. I will make sure that in your next visit all of your needs are well taking care off

Our favorite rental by far in the area. Private, secure and unparalleled views on every floor. Huge living/kitchen/dining area that rocks for entertaining or hanging out. Watch the best surfers in Costa Rica from the 2nd & 3rd floor roof decks. Great pool/barbecue area on the beach!!!

We stayed here with my wife and three adult kids. This is really a fabulous place right on a great surf beach and near enough to Jaco, but far enough where you are away from the crowd. Olivier was great and the house is really set up for both privacy and interaction. There is an onsite care taker to keep things clean and secure - this is really a good place to stay and I have stayed at many vrbo locations.
