Jeanie, We had such a great time at your cottage. It was quite spacious, well equipped and larger that we had expected. Thank you so much for the bottle of wine. The video library was awesome and our dog enjoyed staying there too! We definitely would like to stay at your place again and we RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY.

This was the perfect getaway for us! The cottage is great and the views absolutely amazing. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay, we would definitely stay again.

This listing was all it was said to be. The views (even out of the kitchen window) were gorgeous. Even though it rained at the beginning and the end of our week we could still enjoy our stay because of the unobstructed views and with no close neighbors it truly was a restful and most enjoyable vacation.

I recently went to this place with my girlfriend and we had wonderful time. The view of the lake looked amazing from the house. The place was neat and everything was prepared. The house had big balcony with confy chairs. Also there were lots of good movies to watch. I strongly recomend this place for people who want to relax and enjoy the awesome view of thr clear lake.

Perfect wonderful getaway! From the moment we opened the front door of your quaint, spacious, darling home, we felt so welcome and at home. The view of the lake from your deck was breathtakingly beautiful in the day as well as night. The abundant wildlife was amazing & thrilling to watch. Anyone can readily sense the home is put together with great thoughtfulness to comfort. A stay in your magical home among your collections of treasures awakens precious childhood memories. Anyone who has ever been pampered or cared for by a beloved relative will definitely revisit those nostalgic feelings. I could almost hear my dear Aunt Daisy saying "You can use anything that is here, just don't break it, put it back were you got it & clean up your mess if you make one." We really loved staying at the lake cottage. The owner is exceedingly thoughtful and has created an environment that reminds me of the wonderful lodges from my childhood in Northern Wisconsin. Everything you need to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable is provided, and the view of the lake and Mount Konocti is spectacular from the generous deck. You will feel very cared for in this serene setting above the lake. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. James

We had a ball!! Though the weather was hotter than expected, the late afternoon breezes kicked in and cooled us right down. The home is spacious, comfortable, and accommodating. Open the windows and let the evening breeze cool you down. We could not access the lake directly across to street, and needed to drive up the road a ways. That was the only down side, minimal. The views of the lake, boaters, wildlife was spectacular. Thank you so much!! We will definitely be back again.

We really enjoyed your beautiful house; so well designed, open and airy! Will definitely recommend it to friends. Enjoy the rustic touches starting with the rustic mining wagon outside and lovely collections of things in the house. Very impressed with all the birds, including a family of turkeys that went up the hill outside the kitchen! WE HAVE BEEN ALL AROUND THE LAKE AND THE BEST VIEW OF THE MOUNTAIN AND LAKE IS FROM YOUR PLACE. Also like your music and appreciate all the thoughtful touches; starting with the frosted mugs in the freezer and the complimentary bottle of wine! WE RENT A PLACE EVERY SUMMER AND WE GIVE YOU OUR AWARD FOR THE MOST WELL APPOINTED. THANK YOU! Your could add a selling point to your website; you have a 330 degree view of the night sky from your deck. We didn't bring our telescope anticipating too much ambient light but it was an AWESOME NIGHT SKY, MILKY WAY AND ALL. we haven't been able to see such a south view (Saggitarius) since being in the Caribbean. Jeanie, OMG, WE HAD A FABULOUS TIME!!! (4 day stay) IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY BETTER, WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. THE WEATHER WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE HOUSE JUST MADE IT ALL THE BETTER. AGAIN, IT WAS HEAVENLY! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OPENING YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOME TO US. We still want to book the house in February and possibly sooner and Van will refer some friends from work Leslie As Leslie said, WE LOVED IT! WE LOVED OUR STAY HERE AT YOUR CHARMING HOUSE! We found everything we could possibly need (and more!) videos, games, kitchen ware, comfy blankets and etc. We had our best Thanksgiving as a married couple yet. Hello Jeanie! We had a wonderful time (again) at your house at the lake! I never miss a sunrise and this wasn't an exception. Well, alright, so once or twice I watched without getting out of bed, if that counts! :) It amazes me every time how good it is for our health; mental and physical. Even getting a little morning sun on the deck was good for me. We took lots of photos, from one day when a storm blew through, sunsets, sunrises and birds.
