Location, location and location. In the Nation Forest, a short drive to towns and an area known as vacation land. everything is within in 15 to 90 minute drive. such as Lake Superior, Michigan Ski Hills.

We had a wonderful stay at Barker Lake Lodge for our September wedding! We rented the entire house + some additional cabins for our 40 guests. Everyone had more than enough room to do their own activities or hang out and socialize all together. David and Brenda were great from start to finish! They were quick with communication, but very laid back and flexible (which is our style!) Don't expect a 5 star hotel - this place is rustic. There isn't a flat screen TV or surround sound, but why would you need that when you have a great beach, a huge yard, a bonfire pit and a lake at your back door? Our guests are still talking about the amazing time they had and several people have requested a reunion here soon! Thank you again for the great experience!
