The house was built next to the Domaine du Prieuré, an ancient abbey settled there in the 12th century. Fifty years ago, the club was installed in the renovated buildings and, right at the outset, the surrounding fields were remodeled by Fred Hawtree into two very lovely golf courses.
Le Prieuré has become one of the most renowned clubs of the Paris region due equally to the quality of its courses, its teams' results and its ability to recognize and bring to the fore its young talent. The Club has 6 tennis courts and a 30x15m swimming pool.
The house is located in the quiet environment of a clearing at the border of the courses. It is covered with wood, and opens directly on the garden facing South, through a large French window. The interior has been totally renovated and lovely decorated with traditional materials, natural stones and wood, and pastel paintings into a warm ambiance.
In winter, the fireplace will bring you the tranquility you need to finish your preferred best seller while summer will push you to discover the most authentic landscapes of the French historical times and the best products of the surrounding traditional farmers.
