This beautiful San Benito model offers 2,147 sq. ft. of relaxation and updated decor in a perfect central location at Sun City Shadow Hills. NOTE: MINIMUM STAY IS 3 MONTHS.
The house has decor "almond latte" paint and has many recent pieces of furniture to make the owners and their guests comfortable and enjoy entertaining in this attractive functional home. The patio offers partial views of the Shadow Hills from an expanded patio with table and chairs for 6, plus private hot tub with shade cover, 2 chaises and a pub table and chairs and a gas barbecue. There is a professional misting system and overhead remote controlled Bahama style fan for use on a hot day.
Inside, the great room offers a gas-log fireplace and flat screen TV. There is also a game table for cards, Scrabble or your own favorite. The gourmet kitchen opens to the great room and has a sit-up breakfast bar with 2 stools as well as a center island. The slab granite counters and maple cabinets complement the decor the owners have selected in neutrals with desert accent colors. There is a dining area in the kitchen with wood dining table and chairs to seat 4-6.
The office has a desk/table and shelves with storage to set up your own computer. Wireless printer available upon request. There are games and books here but do bring your own and trade out the books, if you like. Behind the office is a "bonus room" that is set-up as a bedroom with a double bed, a chest and lamp. Just right for the overflow guest.
Down the hall is the guest bedroom and guest bath. The bed is a queen. There's a chest with flat screen TV and large mirrored closet. The bath is accessed from the hallway so all guests may use it.
Along a separate hallway is the master retreat offering a king-size bed with dresser, TV recliner, curio-book shelf. There's a spacious master bath off the bedroom that has twin sinks, jetted soak tub, walk-in shower, commode room, walk-in closet and large linen closet.
All rooms, excluding bathrooms, have overhead Bahama style fans (2 in the great room), each with its own wall mounted remote.
The laundry room with washer/dryer has cabinets with extra towels & supplies, as well, and connects to the garage. There is an extra deep 2 car garage plus a separate cart garage for golf cart or storage.
The owners pay all HOA dues, landscaping, hot tub maintenance, cable TV (inc. HBO and Showtime), trash, internet access, local and long-distance telephone (USA only), as well as $125.00 of the combined gas and electric bill each month. Should your bill exceed that, it will be subtracted from your security deposit at the end. NOTE: MINIMUM STAY IS 3 MONTHS (HOA RULES). Discounts considered for 4+ month stays.

This area is so beautiful. There are so many ways to enjoy yourself here! We love exploring, hiking and learning the history/geology of the area.
The Unique Benefits at this House
If you never leave Sun City Shadow Hills that's not bad, but when you do there's so much to do outdoors and indoors. Ride the tramway to the top of Mt. San Jacinto, take a hike with a guide or a group bike tour. Go out on "Art Walk" nights to "crawl" the galleries or attend the street fairs. There are performances of all varieties: big / small pop, rock, jazz, dance, classical, Broadway, comedy . . .you name it. Festivals to celebrate dates, tamales, rock, country music art . . . and more golf course per capita than any other place in the USA! Lots for kids to do too and great restaurants of all price ranges and tastes. And so many comfortable, scenic parks to stop and take a siesta or read a good book! This is a great place to just relax, too!

We love reading, watching sports and relaxing on our patio. When it is warm we turn on the new misters and a fine fog/mist makes it feels like a cooler day. There's the hot tub with surround sound and seating for 4. Or if we are feeling social we head for the fitness center and meet our neighbors and swim or do the "circuit" on the Cybex equipment. Very nice. Then stop and have a snack in the cafe at the clubhouse adjacent to the fitness center. We love Seattle but this is the life, we have to admit!
