Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2004
I moved to Park City 5 years ago and fell in love with the skiing, snowboarding and winter activities. Main street is also an easy 5 minute walk where you can enjoy great food and nightlife. I live in the house during the summer and rent it out in the winter and it has all the accessories for your vacation. I hope you like my house as much as I do and you have a great experience and vacation.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
I walked into my house and immediately knew it was the perfect house given its great location right in down town Park City. I moved to park city for the best snow on earth and how easy it was to get to.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Not only is my house a 5 minute walk to main street and the park city mountain resort, but the free bus is right in front of the house which can take you to Deer Valley Ski Resort in 5 minutes or the Canyons ski resort in 5 minutes. Also the Park City library is across the street as well as a yoga studio.

The house is just two roads down the hill from Park City Resort and about 150 feet from the bus stop (free buses all around town). It is set back from Park Ave., so it is quiet. There is plenty of room for storage of skis/boards and a nice garage big enough for a Chevy Tahoe. There are 3 nicely outfitted bedrooms and four bathrooms. Some of the mattresses are a little lumpy/collapsed, but most are quite nice - the master has a memory foam bed. The tubs also have jets, which is nice after a day on the slopes. The heated floors are nice, too, especially when you wake up early in the morning. There is always plenty of hot water. The stair cases can be narrow sometimes. The TV is kind of small, but does the trick. The two lounge chairs in the living area aren't very comfortable, but the sofa is. There is a nice gas fireplace too. There is no venting for the oven or stove, which can make the 2nd floor really hot when cooking. The appliances in the kitchen are really nice - a high end oven and fridge and a BlendTec blender. There is a mix of silverware and glasses and plates - not many of them match each other. The washer/dryer is nice, but it smells strongly of Tide, so if you have allergies, beware. There is plenty of storage for all your things throughout the house. We found that we had to spend the first day doing a little cleaning to make the house up to our standards - it seems that the cleaning staff are a little lacking, but once we got it clean, it was fantastic. The management is also very good - if we needed anything at all, we could just call the owner and we would have it the next day or that evening. Overall, a great place to stay!

Pictures don't do the house enough justice. House is gorgeous, beautiful finishes, and loaded with amenities. Ideal location. Owner is very nice and responsive. Our stay was amazing and we would definitely rent again.

For being so centrally located the house is incredibly quiet. House is very well maintained. Furnishings are tasteful and understated. The kitchen is intimate, well-equipped, and a great space for entertaining. Me and my hubby cooked Thanksgiving dinner with 6 other friends - the cooking area opens up to the dining space and living room creating a nice vibe for eating, lounging and relaxing. Enjoyed the hot tub, particularly after a long day on the slopes! Also had a lovely dinner at River Horse - a short walk from the house. Will definitely return for another holiday vacation.
