We, three of us, throughly enjoyed our stay. What a delight to be in a county setting but so close to the town square. We enjoyed our encounter with the sheep and goats and picked fruit right from the trees, herbs from the garden. We would and plan to stay on our visits to napa valley. Lunch at the Freemont dinner is a must, great food and wonderful people. Altogether summer or winter this is the sweetest place to stay in Sanoma/Napa.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I are into the local and organic food movement and we really enjoyed staying at this lovely little farm cottage. The owners provided us with fresh eggs from their chickens, and heirloom tomatoes, melons and peaches from their farm. We could also pick other veggies and herbs growing just outside the door. The location was awesome for attending the Heirloom Seed Festival and exploring wine country. The cottage was extremely comfortable and happy. We will certainly stay there again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My son steered me to the VRBO website and I was immediately charmed by the Sweet Tangerine listing. The minute you drive into the property, you are greeted by a lovely garden and cottage - exactly as expected and more. The furnishings and decor are lovely, peaceful porches and decks provide peaceful privacy. The bed is great and we loved our personal farm eggs, fruit and handmade soaps. These are the touches that make the Sweet Tangerine an exceptional find - we can't wait to return next year! We were close to Infineon Race track for the races and spent Monday at the Jack London State Park - a terrific place to visit and explore.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Romantic, quaint and very comfortable. The cottage was a lovely place to celebrate our 21st anniversary. We enjoyed a relaxing evening BBQ and a late morning brunch which we prepared ourselves in an amply stocked kitchen. Loved the antics of the goats a few paces from the wrap around porch. We were able to enjoy the weekend long wine and jazz festival in the Sonoma Plaza a few miles away. We utilized the taxi service in town which was reliable and friendly. The owners are true to their word available but nonintrusive. We would definately recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a private getaway in beautiful surroundings.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

comfy bed, great shower, housemade soap and farm fresh eggs, and the friendly goat and sheep greeting every time we drove up made our weekend so lovely. our two year-old loved it, and there was plenty of space for him to do puzzles and play cars while we sat on the deck and drank coffee. Sonoma Train Town is just down the street, and is probably one of the greatest toddler destinations on earth (miniature trains, ride-on train, petting zoo, mini ferris wheel, roller coaster, carousel, mini waterfalls and lakes, no pavement, no neon, no obnoxious music, no fried food). I would highly recommend the Sweet Tangerine to people traveling to Sonoma with a little one.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

"We had the loveliest time partly due to The Sweet Tangerine! It surpassed my expectations and was far superior to a hotel, which was our original plan. We will have you in mind when we return to Sonoma. I have already told friends about our recent find!"Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

"What an amazing stay! Hardin Gardens made our stay very special - we felt like family! Our favorite moments were feeding the goats at "Goat:30" and discovering the wonderful hiking trails of Marin/Pt. Reyes. Of special note; Amanda, one of the proprietors, makes and sells the most amazing soaps - ask her about them!"Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

"This is the most spectacular place to stay, and way beyond our wildest imagination! Beyond its charming ambiance, the fresh fruits and veggies ripe on the vines just outside the back door are a gardening and cooking couple's dream. We hope to be able to return again and again!"Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2
