A very comfortable place to stay

My wife and I were traveling with our two middle-school aged children. This home was very comfortable for us and we really enjoyed staying here. We would be very happy to return some day. If you are thinking of renting this home, I would suggest that you keep the following in mind. 1. You'll probably want to have a car. There are not a lot of stores or restaurants within walking distance. But you can walk to the bus stop if you want to use public transportation. 2. Even with a car, the house is located about 15 minutes drive from downtown Juneau, where the majority of the tourist shops and restaurants are located. 3. The house does not have a dining table inside the house, so if you're making a meal, you can either eat outside on the patio or inside on the living room couch. 4. The kitchen does not have a stove or a conventional oven. There are several counter-top electric appliances available to make up for this, but this isn't the ideal place to stay if you're planning to prepare fancy meals.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
