My husband and I grew up skiing in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State, but we have always loved coming to Whistler. As our family grew and the kids got on skis we found Whistler to be an even better place to spend our winter vacations. Then we tried Whistler during a summer trip, and we couldn't get enough of biking the fun trails, hiking down the beautiful mountains, rope-swinging into Lost Lake, trout fishing, zip lining, and strolling the Sunday farmers market. Why the Owner Chose Glacier Lodge
During our many trips to Whistler we stayed at numerous properties in various parts of town, but always came back to Glacier Lodge. Why? We loved completely forgetting about our car once we checked in. Situated at the base of Blackcomb in Whistler's Upper Village, Glacier Lodge is within short walking distance to EVERYTHING: SKI IN / SKI OUT to the Blackcomb Wizard chairlift and Whistler Kids (lessons/daycare); if you are a cross country skier we are a block away from the Lost Lake trail; pubs, restaurants, ski/bike rentals, boutiques, coffee shops, grocery and liquor stores at your doorstep; 3-5 minute walk down the path and over the river to the center of the Lower Village's night life - but return to the peace and quiet of the Upper Village; for summer activities we are walking distance to hiking trails, golf courses and local lakes. Location, location, location -- we think our vacation home is the BEST LOCATION on the mountain, and knew it was where we wanted to be.

I stayed here with my wife and 5 yr old son during our recent ski vacation. The condo is fanatastic with all the required amenities it's beutifully furnished and in an ideal location close to the wizard lifts and mountain action. Only a 5 min walk to the Whistler Village area and great shopping. We highly enjoyed apres ski at the Chateau Whistler only steps away and complimentary ski storgage . If you are an avid skier I suggest heading to the 7th heaven area on Blackcomb to get you fill of bowl and challenging terain. I will defintely be staying here again on my next trip to Whistler as soon as I can ! I highly recommend staying here.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our weekend was just awesome! A few of us friends had decided to get away for the weekend in Whistler for some relaxation, and relax we did! From the moment we walked into the unit, we loved it. The decor is very nice and the unit is well kept. We felt right at home and found a few things in the cupboard that we needed to help us with our meals. The fireplace was cozy and after walking around in the cold, we loved coming in and all sipping on our hot drinks around the fireplace. I will definately stay in your unit again if I'm up in Whistler and will be recommending it to all my friends. Thanks for such a comfortable, awesome weekend.

WOW! Thanks so much for the wonderful Whistler experience - we enjoyed every minute of our getaway. The condo was fabulous, the weather was perfect and the mountains were very beautiful. We did support the village with some shopping and a trip to the spa for a well deserved massage after our hiking. We highly recommend this trip.

My niece, her husband and her two children stayed in Whistler at your apartment for four days. This was their second year staying at Glacier Lodge and they have loved it both times. The location is quiet yet very convenient to all amenities. The unit was in tip top shape upon arrival, very well set up and furnished, and they especially commented on your excellent information package which they found so very useful. They really made full use of the time there with horseback riding, cycling, Peak2Peak, golfing, swimming, hiking, etc. It is a wonderful space for children.

We absolutely loved your Glacier Lodge residence!!!! Our kids felt like they were in a "castle" and we loved the location. We also loved the keycode rather than a key card!! That way I couldn't lose 4 cards in 4 days :).

Thanks very much for a wonderful getaway. Of all the places we've stayed at in Whistler, yours was by far the best! Right from our arrival at Glacier Lodge, the check-in process was easy and smooth, which we all appreciated after a few hours in the car. And it felt like we were staying in a friend's house rather than a vacation rental, which contributed to the feeling of comfort and relaxation we all enjoyed over the weekend. We will definitely book with you again!

We had a fantastic time at Whistler and enjoyed staying in your lovely apartment. The children had a great time and even our 4 year old was skiing mid mountain green runs competently by the end. We would love to come back to your apartment next year for some early Spring skiing.
