This exceptional house was historically a live-in artist’s studio, one of twelve houses specially built for British artists to live and work in, in the mid-19th century. Accessed through a private road and charming courtyard, the Primrose Hill Studios enclave is one of London’s hidden jewels, rich in cultural history. Many of Britain’s leading artists have lived here, including J.W. Waterhouse, Arthur Rackham, and – more recently – John Hoyland and Patrick Caulfield.
The location is exceptionally tranquil and yet just a few steps from bus, underground, train and taxi links. The interior is freshly decorated in white and natural tones, with a new oak wood floor throughout.
