My husband and I definitely enjoyed our week at this well-supplied, artfully decorated, very clean, and conveniently located casita. It is in like-new condition, and we loved the instant hot water. There was nothing we needed or wanted that wasn't provided. Kat was a gracious hostess, quickly responding to our first inquires, the few questions we had as our vacation approached, and providing clear instructions prior to and upon arrival (written info was on the counter). Everything was easy. We so appreciated that our little dog was allowed to tag along, and two grandchildren could spend the night. The local manager was also available right away when we called to let her know we arrived and when we were leaving. Our deposit was more than timely returned; received it in two days. The casita is located in a wonderful walking neighborhood and you can easily travel to any part of town in a short amount of time. I can still see the morning sun pouring into the dining room window. We would definitely recommend this "lovely casita" to friends and family and it would be the first once we would seek out for availability when we return again to visit family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: Bill is an artist, and Kat is a realtor licensed in the state of Colorado. Together, they love to golf. Las Cruces is a perfect community in which to enjoy art & golf, as well as hiking, warm days year round, gardens that burst into bloom easily and historic explorations.
Why the Owner Chose Las Cruces:
Living in Colorado Springs, we began traveling to Las Cruces in 2004 as an easy & warm place to play golf in the winter months. Bill is an artist and was showing in Santa Fe, Taos & Albuquerque, so it was natural and easy to continue traveling south to this wonderful community. We were excited not only by the golf, but also by the historic places, the emerging art scene and the organic styles of homes existing and being built. As a realtor in Colorado, I was very intrigued with the real estate values, as well as the quality of homes constructed. We decided to purchase a second home to use as often as possible. And we have loved it dearly.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is just two blocks from Sonoma Ranch golf course. We love playing there, and we so enjoy the club. We've tried many good restaurants in town, and keep coming back to the club as a favorite. I walk with the dog everyday, so the trails just three blocks from the house are great for this daily commitment. Every trip includes a visit to the Farmers Market, Old Mesilla, The Fountain Theater, local art galleries and Lulu's. We've also enjoyed White Sands, trips to El Paso, Alamogordo, other nearby golf and back road explorations.
