This Comfy Vintage Loft is located on the second-story of a Victorian Building right in the heart of downtown Salida. We've completely renovated it, including refinishing the original wood floors, fixing up the original wood trim, adding some beautiful crown mold to the 13 foot ceilings, upholstered some of the walls with a beautiful fabric, adding a great checkerboard floor to the kitchen and bathroom, new distressed black kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, new bath fixtures and trim, and just a lot of TLC.
In the bedroom you'll find a cozy Queen bed with a quilt, antique wardrobe, and a huge window with the best view downtown. The Living Area has a soft recliner, leather love seat, antique table with four slip-covered chairs, (it's also a chess/checkers table) a flat screen TV with DVD player, movies and books.
There's a nice air-bed with linens available for a 3rd and/or 4th person.

Thank you for the last-minute reservation, the adorable accommodations. The townie bikes, the recommendation to the Fritz, which we loved, and the Nutter Butters - all of which were so thoughtful. The views are as stunning as promised...

Very nice loft - comfy. Nice location. Walked everywhere. Parking an issue. Got parking ticket! :o( M & P {Jynene here - Yes, as this Loft is in the second story of a downtown building, in the middle of the block - parking is limited to 2 hours during business hours only. There is public parking one block N. Overnight is fine on the street in front. Our VRBO & Home Away listings indicate that parking is not included. Thank you for staying with us!}

I have fallen in love with yet another Colorado town! Salida is such a lovely place to stay. The apartment was/is gorgeous. We loved the vintage theme - so cute. The views over the mountains are just stunning - lust waking to see these views made me smile. :o) I'm sure I will come back here again some day!

Very cozy and comfy place. Salida is full of great places to eat. The Fritz, great tapas and other food. The bakery down the street has amazing bagels and pastries. We really enjoyed our stay. C, J & Z
