This was a lovely mountain home. It was very spacious and very clean, and comes with all your basic necessities including linen which is a big plus.Very scenic views of Balsam Mountain. The location was great. You are very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Maggie Valley, and not too far from Bryson City where you can board the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad for a scenic trainride. You are less than five minutes from downtown Waynesville and all its restaurants. We highly recommend Clyde's, located across from Super Walmart, for some delicious homestyle cooking. This property exceeded our expectations in term of spaciousness and locale. We would highly recommend this property.

This house is the best we have ever rented! The location is perfect...plenty of privacy but close to everything you'll need. The driveway is very easy to maneuver and the garage is a very clean and spacious! The owner is wonderful...very helpful (will recommend restaurants and give directions to attractions!) and easy to work with! She keeps the house spotless, very clean and well kept. We enjoyed many nights on the deck watching the sun set and listening to nature. There were no mosquitoes but the owner has provided bug off candles just in case! There are plenty of chairs and a large table on the front deck so you can look at the mountain ranges. The kitchen has everything you will need, even flour and butter!! The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. Plenty of linens are provided, but there is a nice washer and dryer if you want to do your laundry before heading home, and she provides the laundry soap! We felt so at home and find ourselves daydreaming about our next visit. This will be the only home we rent from now own...it would be impossible to find one that compares! We have already booked another long weekend in this "home away from home" and can hardly wait for the date to arrive! This home is a must rent!!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was very clean and the floorplan is perfect for a family or multiple couples! Local shopping, restaurants, and yes, even Wal Mart are very conveniently located within a few miles. We visited Biltmore Estates and several State Parks during our visit. There are numerous trails and waterfalls in the area to provide the perfect atmosphere for amazing views and outings! I spent each morning on the deck relaxing with a hot cup of coffee then evenings winding down from our mini adventures in the jetted tub! It was a very pleasant trip with none of the pressures of the world, my children or my animals!! The owner was fabulous and responded to my questions very quickly. She provided all of the information necessary to make our check in and check out go smoothly. Great property! I would certainly recommend this property if you're looking for a place to stay in Waynesville.

We stayed in this lovely home in February. The weather was wonderful---like spring. We enjoyed a trip to Biltmore, hiking and picnicking in Pisgah Forest as well as shopping and dining in Waynesville. Aida, the home owner, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Her home is as lovely and welcoming as it is immaculate and well equipped. We certainly hope to have the opportunity to stay here again and will recommend the home to our friends.

Great accommodations. Very close to downtown Waynesville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and basic amenities. The house is spotless, has plenty of space with more than adequate sleeping space (3 bedrooms with 4 beds total), and has fantastic views. In addition, the kitchen is stocked with utensils, plates, drinking glasses, toaster, coffee maker, etc. We had friends / relatives over for Thanksgiving dinner and there was more than enough room in the kitchen and dining area. Will hopefully be staying here again next year. Finally, the owner was very helpful and always just a phone call away.

My wife and I were planning a trip to this area and wanted to find accomodations in Waynesville for ourselves and 2 other couples. At first we began looking at motels online and were not particularly happy with the results. For the most part, whatever we looked at was either too expensive or had poor reviews. Looking for alternatives, we discovered this property. It seemed to stand out from all we looked at because of the price. After thoroughly reviewing the information and communicating with the owner, we decided to take a chance and made a three night reservation. It turned out to be a chance worth taking. The facility was everything it claimed to be and exceeded all expectations. Three couples had all the privacy they needed in an otherwise home like setting. Split three ways, the cost per night was incredibly reasonable. Overall, I don't think a better value is available in Waynesville.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The mountain view was fantastic and the home was located very close to town and all the area attractions. This home was very clean and comfortable with everything needed for your stay. We really enjoyed the nearby restaurant "The Sweet Onion" and would highly recommend it. We also loved the farmers market for the fresh vegetables and local foods. The homeowner answered all our questions and the property was easy to locate. We can hardly wait to visit this area again and enjoy the mountain view from the deck of this wonderful home.

Our extended immediate family,(kids and grandbabies) went to the mountain. The house is very nice, fully equipped. We especially loved that there was a private space on the first floor for the grandparents! It was close to shopping and the downtown Waynesville area was fun to walk around. We also enjoyed rafting, the train ride and other kid friendly things. Great central location. Would definitely go back.

We’ve stayed in many homes throughout the Great Smoky Mountains, but this one stands out! The location is perfect, just outside of Waynesville and short drive from Maggie Valley and Cherokee. We can enjoy all of our favorite mountain attractions without venturing too far. No matter what period of the leaf season it is, there is always a viewpoint nearby, as the home is within short distances of the Great Smoky Mountain and Blue Ridge Parkways. After a day of sight-seeing, it was nice to come back to such a comfortable house. Unlike some homes we’ve rented, the driveway here is easily manageable. An extra bonus is the attached garage, making it easy for elderly people to gain entry. The ground floor is very comfortable and well-decorated, especially the spacious foyer with seating area. A bedroom and full bath are also on the ground floor. I was lucky enough to enjoy a plush bed, double closets, TV and sliding glass doors that led onto the covered porch with a swing meant to enjoy the fresh air and scenic views. Climb the stairs to enter the spacious living areas with high ceilings and open layout. The large kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils/appliances. We had everything we needed right there at our fingertips. The owner, Aida, was kind enough to leave coffees, teas, fruit and candy for us to enjoy. A bedroom with queen and twin beds is behind the kitchen, as is another full bath. The living room has plenty of seating, enclosed wet bar and a great stone fireplace. There was cut wood in the garage to build a fire with. It was perfect - fresh coffee in hand, crackling fire and elevated views of the mountains. A sliding glass door atop the stairs leads onto the upper porch with private seating and gas grill. Behind the living room is the master suite, with king bed, large bath and huge walk-in closet. There is also a sliding glass door in the master bedroom that leads onto the end of the covered porch, with an exterior staircase leading down to the driveway/side of house. Overall, this mountain home is a well-decorated, spacious and luxurious getaway. It cannot be beat in terms of price, location, or comfort. The owner is very kind and helpful, providing friendly and dedicated service. My family is very much looking forward to October, when we will return to this great rental house, and no doubt enjoy it as much as we did before. Thank you, Aida, for allowing us to stay in your amazing property!
