This is a rustic log cabin recently refurbished. The original cabin was converted to three bed rooms. The wooden walls and vega have the rich feel of a time gone by. The great room is a new addition that features a vaulted ceiling with an exposed pine beam with cedar trim. The original logs were retained on one wall. A wood burning stove is centered in the room with local stone and latillas as a back drop. A new kitchen with a tile counter top has ample work space for 2 or 4 people to work. There is also a nice deck to enjoy the cool summer evenings during the summer months and on the south for your afternoon enjoyment at other times.
There is an adjoining vacant lot suitable for parking a limited number of travel trailers, toy hauler, etc.

Owner's Map of Eagle Nest
We like the village atmosphere of Eagle Nest. The air is crisp in the morning and the setting sun finishs the day beautifully. The locals are friendly and warm. We have been regular visitors to the village since 1975. June and July of the last two summers have been added to the shorter visits to Eagle Nest and we have definite plans to extend the stay after retirement. When coming over the pass into the valley that overlooks Eagle Nest, we almost hear "The Sound of Music."
