Welcome to our home away from home, a private lakefront mountain retreat situated on a 640 acre crystal clear lake in the Smoky Mountains. This private lake, the largest in NC, is not accessed by the public and is therefore uncrowded. Ski, swim, tube, sail, kayak, canoe, or fish (with proper license) all day in peaceful safety.
The temperature dips below 70 most nights for perfect open window sleeping while rarely exceeding 85 during the daytime hours. Come relax and let the tension escape on our extensive decking at the house, the lakeside cocktail deck, or finally the 60 ft boat dock.
Each of the 4 bedrooms face the lake and are lit up in the morning with the sun as it rises over the lake. The new renovations include a custom kitchen, 3 granite and tile bathrooms, tiled second flooring, and fresh pine wall coverings. Two inside fireplaces and one outside fireplace make this a cozy cottage during those cool nights and winter days.
Relax in either the upstairs or downstairs family room, both with new flat screen high definition TVs, DVD and VCR players, and stereos for surround sound movie watching. There are two kings, one queen, and a bunk room with both a full size and a set of bunk beds. High speed internet is offered as a direct hookup or by WiFi throughout the house.
A 21 ft pontoon boat is available for rental (waiver necessary) for $150/day or $900/week, perfect for fishing or cruising the lake. Also available are our 3 kayaks and canoe at no charge. Speed boats, tubes, and skis are available at the marina for rental.

My family has stayed here on several occasions and each time it has been great. The house is spacious and confortable - nice size bedrooms and bathrooms and a beautiful view of the lake! The owners are very accommodating and eacy to work with. We will stay here everytime we come to Toxaway.

What a fantastic time we had visiting Lake Toxaway, and this home made it all the more enjoyable! The pictures just don't do it justice, as it is ALL completely renovated and decorated beautifully!
