The Vancouver Heights neighborhood is located in the North-Western most corner of Burnaby. We love the unobstructed views, from Stanley Park to the west, to the North Shore Mountains, the ocean, and Indian Arm to the east. It's a 15 minute drive to the heart of downtown Vancouver [west], skiing in Grouse, Cypress or Seymour Mountains [north] or to sandy beaches and boating at Barnet Marine park [east]. The perfect central location!
This neighborhood in Burnaby is called Vancouver Heights, and is renowned for its fantastic delicatessans, coffee shops, and fabulous restaurants of every ethnicity. Public bus transportation is a 2 minute walk away. Aside from the easy access to downtown Vancouver, and to the ski hills on the North Shore, there is a marine trail right below the property that offers miles of jogging, biking and hiking trails that extend into Burnaby Mountain [east] and to the waterfront and city [to the west]. On top of Burnaby Mountain, a 5 - 7 minute drive from the property location, is a first class Canadian University called Simon Fraser offering a variety of classes and recreational opportunities. Within walking distance from our location, there is the Eileen Daily Leisure Centre with 2 pools, steam room, exercise classes and weight training facilities. Across from the Centre is Burnaby's newest library, the McGill Branch. There are 2 parks within a 2 - 5 minute walk offering tennis courts, and children's wading pool and climbing apparatus'.

The Vancouver Heights neighborhood is located in the North-Western most corner of Burnaby. We loved the unobstructed views, from Stanley Park and the Vancouver harbor [west], the Mountains [north and east], and the ocean flowing into the narrows to Indian Arm [to the east]. It's a 15 minute drive to the heart of downtown Vancouver, or to the base of Grouse Mountain (for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, or the gondola ride [north], or to the sandy beaches of Barnet Marine Park [east]. The perfect central location!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Vancouver Heights has a fantastic shopping district, renown in Vancouver for its fabulous delicatessans, coffee shops, and restaurants of every ethnicity. Public bus transportation is a 2 minute walk away. The marine trail right below the property offers miles of jogging, biking and hiking trails that extend into Burnaby Mountain as well as down to the ocean waterfront. On top of Burnaby Mountain, a 5 - 7 minute drive from our location, is the first class Canadian Simon Fraser University offering a variety of classes and recreational opportunities. It's a 3 minute drive to the Eileen Daily Leisure Centre with 2 pools, steam room, exercise classes and weight training facilities. Across from the Centre is Burnaby's newest library, the McGill Branch and a miniature passenger train course run by a BC Engineers group. A park with tennis courts, soccer fields and children's playground is half a block away.
