Johnnys Place is a gorgeous 2/3 bedroom rental apartment in south central London. The apartment is split over two floors: raised ground floor and lower ground floor. The lower ground floor is the sleeping quarters with two very spacious bedrooms (one of the king beds can be separated into 2 singles if required) one of them with an en-suite bathroom. There is also a 3rd mini bedroom for a 5th guest plus a luxury shower room. The raised ground floor is the living quarters with a big and bright countryside style kitchen which overlooks the private garden, a stylish open plan dining/living room and a restroom/toilet room. The flat is fully furnished with top quality fittings, furniture and accessories. At Johnnys Place everything from the towels to the cutlery is of high quality. Johnnys Place is located in Kennington area, south central London (see map section for exact location). Kennington Underground station is 3 minutes away and from there you can get to the West End or the City in 3 stops (less than 10 minutes). Kennington is a very safe residential area where you can enjoy peace and quietness after a busy day sightseeing. The apartment is very close to the South Bank of London which is the main cultural hub in the city (the London Wheel, the NFT, Imax cinema, Tate Modern, art galleries,...) and also to the Vauxhall gay village (less than 10 minutes walking). There are plenty of restaurants, pubs, gastropubs, grocery shops, supermarkets and a park nearby. A great area to be based at when visiting London.

Why the Owner Chose Lambeth
Kennington is a real gem in London. It's very close to the city centre - from Kennington tube station is only 1 stop to Waterloo (the London Eye, NFT, the Tate Modern, the IMAX cinema, the Southbank promenade, etc), 3 stops to Charing Cross (Trafalgar Square), 4 stops to Leicester Square (Soho, Covent Garde, Hamleys, etc) and it's a really lovely residential area with lots of history. It used to be a couple of hundreds years ago where the King manor used to be, that's the origin of the name King Town > Kennington! Johnnys Place's building is a Graded II listed building as it dates back to 1790. The majority of buildings in Kennington area are from this period, including the wonderful Cleaver Square which is just opposite Johnnys Place. Kennington is becoming very hip as savvy Londoners have found out about it and lots of cool and arty people are moving to the area (the City and Guilds of London Art School is just across the street!).

In Johnnys Place everything is of very high quality: the cutlery is Wedgwood, the plates and mugs are Emma Bridgewater, the cushions are Polo Ralph Lauren, the linens are from the very luxurious Frette and Yves Delorme houses, there is a beautiful white leather Barcelona chair, a gorgeous Pierre Poulin chair, art pieces by a local conceptual artist, fresh flowers and a maid service which I provide myself every couple of days as I only live 5 minutes from the apartment.
