We just spent a weekend celebrating my parents 60th Wedding anniversary with 9 family members. The cabin was perfect for this occasion. The cabin layout encourages families to be together by having a wonderful dining/kitchen area on the main floor that invites games around the large dining table and a deck off the area where everyone can watch the sunset. The lower area contains the TV, I just really liked the fact that the main area was not centered around a TV. The setting is bucolic and so relaxing, all your worries fall away. Highly recommend this cabin!!!

We loved your home and our stay. We wanted to have a big family weekend together which included 4 generations. Everyone seemed to have a great time and wants to return someday in the near future. Everything is very nice, well stocked kitchen, lots of room for a large family. The kids stayed in the sleeping loft, Which is so nice, they had a great time being together. Enough bedrooms that the older ones and couple with small children were able to have their own space. Had a wonderful time and am looking forward to staying again. Thanks Robin!

We really enjoyed our stay in your home. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked. The kids loved the ponds and everyone enjoyed riding their 4-wheelers. Mt Magazine is beautiful. The only reason I rate this home a 4 instead of 5 is the beds are very uncomfortable and small. That was miserable, even the kids complained. If you could fix that everything would be great.
Owner response:We're glad you had a great time. I'm sorry you felt the beds were small. The sizes are clearly defined in the website. The loft beds are less comfortable ,as they were a cheaper brand, than the bedroom beds, but we are in the process of upgrading or adding foam to them. All of the beds were purchased brand new at the time of opening to the public. As we just began this in October of 2009, we are still learning what works best and what doesn't. We encourage our guests to provide feedback to us, preferably before posting comments, but we do appreciate the information. It will help us to make it better for the next guests. Update: As of May 20, there are four brand new, comfortable mattresses in the loft. All beds have new, more comfortable mattress covers.

Our romantic stay in your cabin Valentine's weekend for my husband and I was SO MUCH MORE than we expected. The scenery was amazing...pictures just don't do this place justice. It is secluded, private, quiet and peaceful. A wonderful place to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. We have plans to return soon with more family/friends. My husband and I thank you very much for providing such an awesome place away from it all, we hated to leave.
Owner response:We're very glad that you enjoyed your stay in our cabin. We hope that you continue to visit and add to your memories here. Come back soon!

We came here to get away for the weekend and this was a great place to do it! We really enjoyed the well-prepared kitchen, excellent organization and top-notch cleanliness. What we most appreciated over other VRBO cabins we've stayed in was Robin's wonderful professionalism, cheerful manner and promptness. We will be back!

The Cherokee Cabin is excellent. Our family truly enjoyed our time together. We cooked, ate, played video games, soaked in the hot tub under the stars, watched the sun come up and just enjoyed being together. May God bless you and your family.

Thank you for our awesome stay. This cabin was beautiful. We had the most beautiful view of Mt. Magazine. This is the best cabin we've ever stayed at. We had the best time riding four wheelers, getting in the hot tub, seeing the sights, cows and deer. We had a great time as a family and we were never bored. We definitely want to come back. Thank you for this great experience. We saw shooting stars, too.

Thank you for making your log home available to us through VRBO. It was perfect - allowig us the room to be together as a family - and enough room to spread out. The kids entertained themselves well - just being here. No one said they were bored. They especially enjoyed the fishing and hot tub. We were blessed with beautiful weather and enjoyed mornings on the deck listening to the cows and birds.

We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at your cabin! The cabin is beautiful and the views of the countryside and mountains are inspiring. We did an easy day trip (less than 1 hour drive each way) to Petit Jean State Park. The Cedar Creek trail took us to a spectacular 95 foot waterfall. The kids enjoyed fishing in Cherokee Cabin's ponds and playing basketball! We will be back - thank you for sharing your cabin!

we had a wonderful time at Cherokee Cabin. We went to Mt. Magazine, fishing and caught over 40 fish, had a family football game, made smores and watched the sunrise. This was a beautiful cabin and wonderful view. Thank you for letting us have a wonderful weekend!

A great getaway from city life! A Beautiful cabin! You will not be disappointed by this one- very nice and very clean. Appropriate for couples or families. The property is beautiful and everything we wanted to do was within an hour- hiking, canoeing, etc. Stop in Booneville or Paris for groceries, this is a very remote area. Everything else we needed was provided. Lunch at the lodge on top of Mount Magazine is a must. Couldn't believe we were in Arkansas! Stayed in many VRBO's- I will return to this one. Thanks!
Owner response:It was a pleasure meeting you two! We look forward to many more stays from you and all the exciting stories you will be able to tell of your adventures in Arkansas!

PERFECTION! Your time spent here will not be a disappointment. This cabin is your perfect getaway spot nestled in the mountains of ARkansas. If you want the true experience of seculsion and privacy while enjoying a wonderful house this is the place. You have very expansive views of the surrounding mountains, with many windows. The hot tub is also very nice to enjoy the open stars and night skys. It is only about a 40 minute drive from Mount Magazine, so you can enjoy your day there hiking and then relax in this wonderful cabin. I would suggest bringing in your food from Paris on the way in. A large family could easily be accomidated here as well. This cabin will not disappoint.
Owner response:Thanks, Philis! It was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you for your advance reservation for this time next year. We look forward to it.

We stayed at Cherokee Cabin in Magazine. The most awesome log cabin that you've ever seen. Four queen-sized beds on two separate floors. And a loft upstairs without any doors. Outside on the porch as we looked at the sky We saw shooting stars go flying by. It's now time to leave and for this dream to end. We can't wait until we can come back again!
