Villa Milagro, (House of Miracles) a new and luxurious property claims a private cove on 'Playa Troncones', offering the perfect 'sanctuary' for an experience you will treasure. It is an internationally inspired 'Mexican villa' located on two 'oceanfront' lots with three private casitas in addition to the casa grande.
The artists and designers have created an environment that transforms from an intimate romantic hideaway for two into a secluded home for large family gatherings, retreats, weddings, workshops and holidays.
Created by local artisans and craftsmen in an eco friendly style this estate is exclusively located on a pristine 'cove', known to locals as “Lovers Beach”. It is directly south of the homes, restaurants and activities of the quaint village of Troncones. Villa Milagro offers seclusion and privacy, yet it is only a five minute walk from the center of town.
Troncones Bay is a sanctuary established by the Mexican government to protect sea turtles that lay their eggs along these magnificent white sandy beaches. All rooms face directly to the beach which is rock free; perfect for swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling or surfing. At the right time of season, you might be fortunate enough to witness the hatching of the turtles and watch hundreds of baby turtles moving toward the sea.
Architect Karina Cabana and her husband, contractor Gustavo Jasso designed and built Villa Milagro with few exterior walls and no windows, gracefully joining the interior with the outdoors so that the buildings, furnishings and natural surroundings combine as a harmonious composition. Privacy is attained by use of gardens and pathways leading to sand, beach and ocean. Adding to the artistic vision of their clients' is Los Angeles interior designer Brandon Hoskins. ”When my client, a psychologist, asked me to work with her on a house in Mexico that had no exterior walls, windows or doors, I thought she was on the wrong side of the couch. But, the challenge of designing 'Villa Milagro' and the beauty and simplicity of Troncones had me spellbound and once I saw the house, I was hooked.
Design:
The colors are earthy and neutral allowing the natural surroundings to emerge and to creating a serenity with Asian sensibility to it.
In keeping with the spirit of a ”green house”, the furniture is made out of teak and other local tropical woods that have been grown especially for making furniture or utilizing wood that was felled by nature in the surrounding jungles.
The furniture and lamps are created by local craftsmen and artists; the art and accessories are from the owner’s personal collection of folk art acquired over a lifetime of traveling throughout Asia, Africa and Mexico.
The villa dining and socializing area is the heart of the home. It is surrounded by a rock faced 'infinity swimming pool', 'spa' and decks. Built on the beach, you are surrounded by the sight, sounds and fragrances associated with beach life. Dolphins, birds and other creatures invigorate and stimulate all of the senses.
The dining area has an eight foot hand crafted table and ten comfortable chairs for dining and socializing.
A studio alongside of the dining area offers a place to curl up with your favorite book or person.
Villa Milagro provides ample space for socializing; plenty of opportunities for solitude when desired.
Bedrooms:
The master suite overlooks uninterrupted ocean and mountain vistas. In this unique loft like space floats a king sized bed, sitting area and a sink, double vanities, toilet and shower. Two additional twin beds can be added for additional accommodations.
The Sunrise\Sunset Casa offers two suites each with a bedroom, bathroom and private sitting area. They are comfortable for four or more people to lounge together or to curl up with a book in privacy and seclusion. If that leads to a restful sleep, the couches are over six feet in length and provide a comfortable space for an afternoon siesta. Bathrooms are unique; utilizing organic elements and open air rain-head showers.
The Zen Garden Suite is a separate structure perfect if you want to settle down and spend extended time in Troncones. It consists of two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a kitchen facility. One bedroom is loft like with a '360 degree view' of the ocean and mountains; the other is a room with a porch, overlooking a garden. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk in shower. This space also houses the laundry and storage facility.

My 5 days at Villa Milagro were quite simply-divine. The serenity, natural beauty, comfort, food, decor, architecture (simple & elegant-with top notch sheets and towels) were a perfect fit for me. Short walk on the beach to a fun local restaurant, (Roberto's).

What can I say? Everything at Villa Milagro is perfect! The property is spectacular, with every attention to even the smallest detail well thought out. The staff is incredibly helpful while being unobtrusive, almost like they’re able to know what you want before you do. The food prepared by the chef was fabulous! And to top it all off – the ocean is right at your doorstep. We went in January, and the water was 80 degrees… I can’t wait until I have another chance to visit Villa Milagro!

This was by far and away one of the loveliest resorts I have ever stayed at. The property is totally isolated and overlooks a private cove, complete with lighthouse, beach, and rocky shoreline where you can watch waves break over rocky outcroppings all afternoon long. The architecture of the property itself, including the thatch roofs, wood beams, and contemporary furnishings let you know that you have arrived in paradise. I cannot recommend this place enough! We will definitely be back!

This villa is incredible. Being the only home on the cove, you have this piece of paradise all to yourself. Beautiful views, Troncones just a stroll up the beach, and the home is Class A+. You can't go wrong with this one. I hope to go back.

Villa Milagro is a secluded gem of a getaway that is the perfect place to escape when you really need to unplug from the world for a few days. I stayed there for a long weekend in June with a group of friends, and we had an outrageously good time. (Warning: If you need to be near a Starbucks, want to go out clubbing every night, and/or need to be surrounded by other tourists, this is probably not for you) The property is hidden at the end of a semi-private beach at the outskirts of a little village. The only road to get there is the beach, which Jaime, the manager, will drive you across in his SUV after he picks you up from the airport. I can't describe what it feels like when you turn the corner on the beach and see Villa Milagro for the first time. The pictures do not do it justice. The weather was perfect the entire time we were there -- day and night. When I first heard that I would be staying in a building without walls, I was skeptical, but it's really a fabulous experience. You're lulled to sleep every night by the sounds of waves gently crashing and woken each morning by a cool ocean breeze. There is an infinity pool to swim in, a lounge area, and your own beach to take a dip in (though watch the undertow). Do you want to go deep sea fishing? Jaime can arrange it. We caught six sail fish in seven hours. Do you want to go surfing? There's a guy from Oregon who lives in the village with his family and offers private or group lessons. Do you want to hang out by the pool, drink a cervesa, and read a book? That works too. And, if you can swing it and enjoy real Mexican food, I highly recommend paying more to have them prepare all of your meals for you. Vidalia cooked up three delicious meals a day for us as well as snacks, and always did so with a smile on her face. She hand made several kinds of salsa from scratch, cooked up the fish we caught, and whatever else we wanted. She doesn't speak English so if you can't speak restaurant Spanish, you'll have to have Jaime translate. To sum up, if you're looking for something more than a cookie cutter beach vacation to take with a bunch of friends, couples, or your special someone, and you like a little adventure balanced with lots of comfort and relaxation, then you should strongly consider Villa Milagro. I started itching to go back the moment I left.

This giant, beautiful Palapa Palace, on its own secluded beach, open to the sea air and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks, was home, for one long weekend, to one of the most relaxing getaway vacations I will probably ever have. The place was huge, with treetrunk beams holding up thatched roofs. The service was incredible, the food was great, and we had everything we needed to relax and reset. An incredible place for a group of friends or family to spend time together, away from the cares of the world.

I can not begin to explain what a vacation we had. The Villa is on a private cove... an amazing infinity pool that look out on the ocean as far as the eye can see. Lobster dinners, fishing trips, horseback riding, watching the turtles running and enjoying the surf. The activities in the area are perfect. The service at the Villa is excellent w a full time staff facilitating all our needs. It was a perfect place for my friends to spend a week relaxing in absolute luxury. Words can not describe the beauty and quiet peaceful experience we shared. I can not say more! LOVE IT! Would recommend to anyone !!!! Going back again and again!
