The condo is located in a family friendly and beautiful resort style setting with an incredible courtyard perfect for playing games or relaxing on the deck while you grill your favorite steak or seafood. Swimming pool is encased with a cool top surface that never gets hot and is surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping. Lounge chairs are provided at the pool.
While sitting on your private balcony you can hear and see the emerald blue waves roll in onto one of the most beautiful white sand beaches North Carolina has to offer. The beach was re-nourished (Spring 2011) resulting in one of the widest beaches in the North Carolina. Also from the balcony you can see the ships sailing into the sound and watch the kids play/swim at the pool.
The beach is a short stroll across the courtyard and take the boardwalk over the dunes. If you like collecting shells or walking/running on the beach, take a left and head down to the Point which is approximately 1.3 mile walk along the pristine coastline.
During your stay, you can visit Fort Macon State Park which has a newly built historic museum and is free to the public. Also visit The NC State Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, or head over to Shackelford Banks where the horses run wild and the fishing is superb. Morehead City Boardwalk to also a must see where local fishermen bring in the daily catch. There are also numerous golf courses in the area.

We just spent a week at "License to Chill" and I would highly recommend it! From the first email, the owners were friendly and very helpful. The condo was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, and had a gorgeous view of the beach and plenty of room for the 5 of us. The pool was also clean, well-kept and not crowded. The location is perfect - away from the busiest sections of the area but only a few minutes to restaurants, grocery stores and shops. This was definitely one of the nicest all-around places we've ever rented at any beach and we will be back!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Well, this is definitely the NICEST condo we have had the opportunity to stay in and we have been coming to the beach since 1990!!! We love your style! Excellent accommodations and amenities. Thank you so much for opening your home for renters. From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home. The pictures on the internet are good but experiencing the views are much better. We have had the most wonderful and relaxing week. Our 3 girls kept us busy going from the beach to the pool. Perfect weather, trips to the aquarium, a ferry to Shackleford banks, fudge in Beaufort, 3 nights waiting on the beach to finally see the baby turtles hatch! So many things have made this a vacation to remember.

We had a great time at your condo. The lace is so cute and beautiful. Our boys loved their surfer room. We had everything we needed for the week to feel righta t home!
