Why the Owner Chose Anna Maria
We purchased "Le Chateau" as a quaint, gulf view, old Florida cottage. The backyard provides a wonderful area for picnics, grilling out, or just sitting under the trees soaking up the gulf breeze. This property is located on the finest section of the beach in the city of Anna Maria, on the northern part of the island. The beach here tends to be very secluded with trees, sea oats, and sand dunes. The perfect family vacation, or romantic getaway!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We completely remodeled the property adding new appliances, TV, and internet access while still retaining the island charm. The walls are natural pine wood reminding us of the history of this unique house. Several ole time baseball greats have stayed here and in the surrounding properties( Mound, Home plate). "Le Chateau" is literally ten steps from the beach access and located on a very wide section of the sugar sand beach. This area of the island beach is known for its gentle sloping swimmer-friendly aqua blue waters. The house is located close to heart of the city where there are many unique shops and fine dining. In fact, you can easily walk to the Sandbar Restaurant down the beach or one of our favorite spots, Rudy's, for a great sub sandwich.
