If you are looking for a break from the stress everyday life brings, you have come to the right place. We have found making the quick drive to the lake is just what the doctor ordered. Come kick back in the large open family / living space and catch the game on the big screen TV. Or perhaps you are the type that likes to have a little privacy to catch up on a good book.
The sun porch off of the main living room has its own fireplace and is just the place for that quiet down time. Pack your cooler and head down to the dock to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. For those who love to grill, you have the option of cooking your lunch or dinner on the grill at the house or perhaps if you prefer use the one down at the dock. We like to turn on the radio down there and just enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle.
Bring your friends and family for a great time on the water. There are local restaurants within 2 miles for those wanting a break from cooking as well.

Our weekend started as a simple get-a-way...wow...did it evolve into much more than we anticipated. This lake home far exceeded our expectations. Every detail is considered for romantic couples like us, girls' weekend trips, guys' fishing expeditions, extended family/friends vacations, and college football game fun. We live just outside of Atlanta and were looking for a quick and convenient get-a-away that welcomed our little man Rosko (our two-year old yellow lab). This place suited us perfectly. We researched this location and took into consideration the colorful leaves this time of year. We visited the South Carolina Welcome Center with uncertainties of local outdoor activities. We were lucky to learn about the 12 waterfalls located just off of Scenic Highway 11. We explored Stumphouse Tunnel and hiked Issaqueena Falls and Station Cove Falls. We hoped to discover the others but most of our time was spent at this luxurious lake home. Because of the amazing floorplan we were drawn to cook yummy meals together, listen to rockin' music, and dance like kids in front of the crackling fire. Considering the spaciousness, we are looking forward to our next visit with friends and family so that the other three bedrooms in this home can be used. The upstairs bedroom is tightly tucked away. The downstairs bedrooms are located off the "pool table" room and convenient to the secluded lower patio with huge jacuzzi. Had time permitted, we totally would have taken advantage of the upper party deck of the boat dock to cook dinner on the grill, down jello shots at the table, and jump into the lake from the handrail...next time!! We would really like to thank the owners for giving us the most romantic weekend we have had in a while. Mark and Angelia, you rock :) Very Sincerely, Jenny and Korey's Adventures

We want to thank you for a wonderful stay at the lake. We worked our calf muscles up and down to the dock. The water stayed 85-90 by day, which made it nice in the southern heat. If anyone in the future seeks a fishing trip we recommend "Captain Bill" fishing adventures. There was more than enough space and sitting areas for always a different view of the lake. Thank you again from all of us. **Magee note - 32 paces down the concrete path to the water**

Your house is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for allowing our family to use it for spring break. It was a much needed paradise away from home. Your dock is top notch and our kids enjoyed the cariety of movies at night. The location is great and we enjoyed the local food including the Spotted Pig. What an "Oasis"! Good food, good wine, great friends..."Wish" this was our "home" we would never leave! Thank you so much. We also have a cholcolate lab, Maggie, that we left with our critter sitter. We will tell her about your dogs & the lake. Hope to come back again!
