My husband and I stayed here in September and it was perfect - we loved being so close to the beach but it felt like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend!

Owner response:Our quaint little cottage does not have all the bells and whistles of the newer big cottages, but we try hard to make it an affordable,comfortable beach house.

My wife and I stayed at the WEGE in October of 2011. We had a great time. The property was clean. The location was perfect. If you are looking to get away to a great location, this is your place. It's not Cleveland { where we live } which is great, you will not regret it.

Owner response:We check our cottage after every rental to make sure it is in the best condition for our next guests. Although we use a rental company we are very involved and will be happy to answer any questions about the cottage or the area! I answer email ASAP so you don't have to wait long for an answer.

perfect little cottage

We stayed for a few days in October and were very happy with WeGe. We have a 10 month old baby and the place was perfect. We enjoyed everything about the cottage. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The cottage is right on a semi-main road, but the traffic was not bad or too loud, and did not get in the way of a little view of the ocean. You could hear the waves from the cottage!

Owner response:We love having guests stay at our little cottage who enjoy themselves. WeGe is located on the 2 lane road often referred to as Beach Road by locals. It runs parallel to the ocean. October is a great time to visit the Outer Banks.

Perfect House for Small Group

My two girlfriends and I love the WeGe. The house is very cute with beach access 50 feet away right across the street. It's furnished comfortably with a pantry for the food we bought. From the front porch, there's a nice view of the beach. Besides that, the WeGe is on milepost 5, which puts it close to some good restaurants and shopping. My friends and I could walk to get coffee in the morning. Only rent the house, though, if you are a small group; it has only one bathroom and two small bedrooms. My girlfriends and I have stayed there five times over the past fifteen years, and we fit perfectly--two in the room with single beds and one in the room with a double bed. All in all, we love the We Ge.

very nice! Left on 07/21/2011 for a stay in June 2011 my spouse and i stayed at the wege a the week prior to july 4th. we found the place to be perfect for our needs.it is very nice, clean, and very convenient. it is literally steps across beach rd to a very nice stretch of beach and a short drive to many of kdh and nags head's fine eating establishments. the cottage is perfect for a couple or small family getaway ***copied from other website***

Thank you so much for sharing We Ge A with us! . The house was everything the rental agent had described, as well as everything we needed. It was impeccably clean, well thought out, charming and private.Our priority was proximity to the beach, which we certainly got...right across the street !!!!!The beach itself is beautiful and not too crowded, the house quaint, well located, close to groceries and activities and well equipped for our needs

We have stayed at WeGe twice. We love it. We are on the beach in no time since it is across the street from the access. Great for those trips back to cottage for something you forgot! We also like to walk to a restaurant just 2-3 blocks from the cottage. We relax completely when we are on the Outer Banks. Look forward to it and hope to return often. Love the new flat screen TV!
