1800 square foot, three bedroom townhouse with one-car garage and ample off street parking for guests. Walking distance to resort center, ski lifts, restaurants and homeowners recreation center. Terrific views of the Red Cliffs at Kirkwood. Like new.
Kirkwood has been repeatedly rated as one of the USA's top ten ski resorts. There are a wide variety of slopes to choose from, from beginner runs to experts only. The cross-country and snow shoeing trails are also superior. The ski/board instruction is excellent for kids, as well as adults. Kirkwood is generally less crowded than the other resorts in the nearby Lake Tahoe region, and has a quiet, laid back feel to it, yet only 40 minutes away you can find all the action and activity of South Lake Tahoe, including casinos and concerts.
During the less crowded summer months, the chairlifts are open for hikers and mountain bikers (and their bikes) to ride to the top of the mountain to hike/ride the ridge line and down. Enjoy the trails, views, wildflowers, and quiet. There is also an outdoor pool, two Jacuzzis, a rock climbing wall, and zip lines to enjoy in the summer. Hiking, fishing, boating and swimming abound at Caples Lake, Silver Lake, and little Kirkwood Lake all within a couple of miles from our townhouse. This is a great place to stay during the annual Death Ride bike race held in California each summer.

We are the original owners of this property. We enjoy Kirkwood so much that we purchased a larger property across Kirkwood Meadow as our residence.
The Unique Benefits of this Town House
It's a short walk to the ski lifts at the center of Kirkwood Resort. The property also is on the Kirkwood Meadow, which makes it a great place to cross country ski or for snow play. The unit also has a garage which keeps your vehicle out of the weather and free from snow.
