If you are looking for the perfect Mexican holiday encompassing relaxation combined with beautiful safe surroundings, look no further than Manzanillo and in particular the haven of La Punta.
Renowned to be an exclusive gated community , this special place gives you the option of spending your days within the community on one of the four private tennis courts or relaxing at the private beach club, only accessible to La Punta owners and guests. The area of La Punta is adorned with bougainvillea and palm trees. It has a cobbled road leading around the whole perimeter which is used by the residents as a daily walk or jogging route.
The owners of this villa discovered the special place of Manzanillo during a quick getaway. They didn’t want the shopping malls with the big brand names, they wanted something that was uniquely Mexican yet with amenities and recreational facilities. Manzanillo, despite having caved into a few of the well-known US brands is still a place where you can wander into a bar or restaurant and be the only person speaking English. The owners have discovered some special places to eat and bars to enjoy and are happy to share their knowledge with you.
Manzanillo offers beautiful beaches, excellent grocery shopping and above all “the Mexican feeling”. After all, isn’t this why you chose to go there?
Casita Maria has been beautifully renovated and upon closing the entrance gate, you are within the solitude and privacy of your own garden and pool area. The views look down onto the Las Hadas marina and the Bay of Manzanillo. The size of the villa does not require a daily housekeeper or cook but if you want it, it is available. The house is fully air conditioned for your comfort.
The gardener makes an early morning daily visit to clean the pool, sweep around and generally to keep the lovely garden area shipshape. Within the villa, there is a gourmet kitchen with large professional gas stove and all cooking utensils you might need during your stay. Your own personal cook can be arranged at additional cost for your stay. As an entrance to the main kitchen, there is a separate preparation area with sink area and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with washer and dryer.
Life in Mexico is mainly about outdoor living but on those evenings that you feel just too hot to sit outside, the house has ample seating around the large dining table and there are comfortable large chairs and sofas. The two bedrooms upstairs have king sized beds and walk-in wardrobes. They share a balcony which looks down onto the Las Hadas Marina. All bedroom accommodation has an en-suite shower bathroom. All three bathrooms have been completed renovated and modernized in November 2009.
An additional sleeping area and private en-suite bathroom is downstairs. This doubles up as the media room. The sofa bed acts as a single bed or alternatively can be pulled out to an extra size king bed.
The media cabinetry has a new Plasma 42 inch flat screen television with Satellite TV from Canada, thus including most US television stations. If you bring your laptop along, there is wireless throughout the house.
Underneath the house is the special outside sitting and eating area with a waterfall backdrop and fan ventilation should you need it.
There are four golf courses nearby and one of them is adjacent to La Punta. The "Mantaraya" golf course was listed as one of the top 100 golf courses in the world. It is part of the acclaimed Las Hadas Resort. the other great courses are Islam De Navidad and Tamarindo. Jet skiing, water skiing and snorkeling are available from the La Punta beach club.
Our local manager oversees all your needs are met and that you are happy during your stay. He and his helpful staff can organize transport to and from the airport, arrange for groceries and book any excursions you require.
