Why the Owner Chose Bozeman
We chose this property for its location and views. We love being in the country while still being near civilization!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our property provides incredible privacy. Indoors you can relax in a cozy space, while outdoors you can actually see the stars! You might see deer, eagles, hawks and sandhill cranes out the windows. There are also cows that meander by. However, if you want to get out and explore the valley - it's ALL within an hours drive!
Owner's Map of Bozeman
My husband and I now live in Colorado, but we enjoyed three and a half years living on this beautiful property outside of Bozeman, MT. My husband constructed the guest house almost entirely himself, and finished it in the summer of 2009. When we visit Bozeman we LOVE staying here, and want to share it with others visiting the area!

Stayed at the Gallatin Guest House on our last two days of vacation in Bozeman. What a treat! The house is beautifully built and decorated. The views are amazing and wish we had more time to just sit on the patio chairs and take in the scenic view. So peaceful. Jennifer was great to work with. There's a wonderful little pottery/coffee/bake shop located about 10 minutes away on Gallatin Road where they make amazing desserts, soups and pottery.

We were very pleased with the cabin and had a great time in it. It's as darling as the pictures show. Better yet, it's quiet, comfortable, private, and clean. The amenities (e.g., microwave, refrigerator) were handy, as was the location. The property owner was pleasant and easy to work with. The only thing we did not particularly enjoy was the bed -- too squishy for our tastes. Also, I would imagine that large people would have trouble with the spiral stairs, as they are fairly narrow. We would definitely stay at this location again.

What a great property!!! The guest house was perfect for the two of us. The construction of the house is quite impressive...incredible attention to detail. It was much more spacious than expected. The views were spectacular. The kitchen area was the perfect size, with all of the necessary items in order to enjoy quick meals. I really enjoyed having the bedroom on the lower level where it was always cool and peaceful with a great view of the surrounding countryside. We also really enjoyed the ability to walk out of both levels to enjoy the patio area. Please note that due to the construction of the house, WIFI is not available inside the guest house from what we could tell. However, on the patio it worked beautifully. Wonderful place if you are looking to relax and take in all of the sights and sounds of nature. Thank you for letting us stay at the guest house. I look forward to the next time!

The guest house was wonderful. You did a fantastic job and the views are great. My son was so impressed by the construction and design that he tried to drag out all his friends who just graduated with degrees in Architecture.

We want to say thanks for letting us stay in your guest house while we visited Bozeman. We had a wonderful time, and really enjoyed the house! There was alot of attention to details when the builder (was it your husband?) constructed the house! Since I am in the field of architecture, I enjoyed "figuring out" how the construction worked, and I appreciated the details. We will recommend the guest house to all of our friends who visit the area!

When my friends asked how our accomodations at the Gallatin Guest House were, I replied "Special." This home is very well done with hardwood floors and top of the line finishes, furnished with quality pieces and, most importantly, an extremely comfortable bed. It was well kept and very clean. We didn't do any cooking during our stay, but the frige, microwave, toaster and coffee maker were more than adequate for our breakfasts. The weather was beautiful and we were able to sit on the patio for our morning coffee. While looking out from the patio we could see far off snow topped mountain ranges, green crop fields and those famous Montana cows! What we couldn't see was a single man-made structure. Really! One nice evening we even made a fire in the "fire pit" and enjoyed the stars. The circular staircase leading from the downstairs bedroom to the main floor, where the bathroom is, is narrow, and I wouldn't recommend it for the elderly or anyone carrying an infant. But otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing. This place is just "special."

My fiance and I stayed in this great cabin while looking for wedding venues in Bozeman. Two things struck me about this cabin, the view and the craftsmanship...both were spectacular. It was such a great place to come home to at night. Thanks for a great stay, we will definitely be back!
