Truly a gem! The perfect romantic getaway in the heart of Bigfork's lovely village is now available for weekly vacation rentals! The beautifully appointed 'Jewel Penthouse' apartment has so much to offer. Located within The Sacred Dancing Gallery building (gallery closed during rental months) you will enjoy complete privacy and luxury.
The 1300 sq ft open room is a spacious living area with great kitchen and living room boasting fine furnishings, artisan antler chandeliers, a beautiful santa fe style gas fireplace, lots of great natural light, views of town, and a peak of the cove from the breakfast nook.
The separate large bedroom suite offers yet another gas fireplace (stone Montana Style) large double sided desk, leather sofas. The queen size bed is adorned with custom made designer bedding and is a hand-hewn alder western bedstead. Eclectic designer bathroom with great stone tiled, glass sided, double 'sunflower' shower head shower space.
The Jewel Penthouse apartment has its own separate entrance up the side stairwell accessible directly from the street with plenty of available public parking located just below. Overall the Jewel is the most beautiful, spacious and original vacation rental in town by far!

Why the Owner Chose Bigfork
Bigfork is a quaint village with a great location and is known for its art galleries, shops and great restaurants. We knew it was the perfect spot for us to build our dream gallery lifestyle. Here, nestled beside Bigfork Bay, the North corner of Flathead lake, and the mouth of the Swan River, we just loved being surrounded by so much water but also by the beautiful Swan Mountain Range and The Mission Mountain Range. Just steps from the gallery is the Swan River Nature Trail, so it was a great village with nature combined! We also enjoy being within a 35 minute drive to Glacier National Park, and we love to ski at either Blacktail Mountain or Whitefish Mountain, also a 35 minute drive! Bigfork is a quiet town but there are a variety of events that are hosted in town throughout the year, such as art walks and various festivals. Overall we knew that this was a fantastic vacation spot!

Owner's Map of Bigfork
It was love at first sight. A gallery owner from Bigfork, MT and an artist from Boulder, CO. And it happened in Santa Fe, no less, the art capital of the west. After a winter of skiing in Aspen, John was in New Mexico interviewing artists for possible representation in Montana. What better partner could he have than Molly, a still life oil painter whose passion and love of the arts was contagious? So contagious, in fact, that within a week, both were drawing gallery expansion plans on paper napkins and mapping out their new lives. And so has begun another adventure in life for John & Molly who were married in Glacier National Park in the fall of 2006.
