This like new, immaculate, 900 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo w sleeper sofa is the ideal "getaway" for a great value! Experience amazing views from all rooms! Our comfy condo offers awesome, panoramic views of the ski area, the ski lifts, Mt. Crested Butte, the surrounding mountain ranges, and the Town of Crested Butte below! The West Wall Quad Ski Lift is just steps away! It is private, yet clearly near all the "action" right on the mountain!!!
Boasting new granite counters in the remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, this home is completely renovated with new tile, carpet, paint, fixtures, appliances, & furniture! Leading outside through the triple sliding glass doors in the living room, is the 2-sided, corner private deck where you can take in outstanding views while sipping your coffee or enjoying a glass of wine as the Wood Creek Creek trickles below! Relax in front of the wood-burning fireplace w/ flat-screen TV after a day of hiking, biking, snowboarding, or skiing. Create gourmet meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, order in, or dine-out at 5-star restaurants located close to the condo!
On the 3rd floor with elevator access, our place is handicap accessible, too, with two bright and spacious bathrooms. The huge, master bath has a shower and tub; and the main bath has a full-sized walk in shower! A roomy master bedroom, with a queen sized mattress, along with a large 2nd bedroom with 2 twin sized beds, completes this great mountain home, sleeping up to 6 adults. Twin beds can be converted to King bed, if needed. You & your friends will fall asleep in minutes once your heads hit the pillows after a busy day! TV/DVD's are in both the living room & bedroom.
Laundry facilities are located right next to the unit on the 3rd floor. There is Free High Speed Wireless Internet throughout the complex, also! The quickest internet on the mountain!!
Besides the sunny, amazing, private deck, you can also soak up the rays on the community deck and enjoy the hot-tub area where you can grill or chill!! There are saunas on the premises along w/ additional his & her bathrooms w/ showers. The lobby is cozy with a sitting area and has a TV providing the latest snow/weather conditions.
The WoodCreek Condo building is in a fabulous location!- One of the best, if not, the best location, on the mountain. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the Main Base area or 60 yards to board the West Wall Quad Lift. From the lift, you can ski over to the Main Base. There is a lighted, private parking lot and a free town shuttle bus stops every 15-20 minutes out your front door with speedy transportation to the Main Base and anywhere in Crested Butte!
Our condo is close to restaurants and attractions. Western State College is in Gunnison; It's only 2.5 hours to Telluride; 3.0 hours to Aspen. There is skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, golfing, tennis, fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, rafting, swimming, & jeep tours. In the summer, there are open air concerts at the Base Area and at the Crested Butte Center for the Arts! You can also fish, boat, or windsurf at the Blue Mesa Reservoir. The Black Canyon of the Gunnison and the City of Montrose is an hour away. There is a reason why they call Crested Butte the "Last Great Western Ski Town!" There's always a festival or event to celebrate! Come, "chillax", enjoy!!!

Why the Owner Chose Mt. Crested Butte
The town of Crested Butte is a friendly, family-oriented community. We chose the Wood Creek Condos in Mt. Crested Butte because the building is so close to the ski lifts with great views of the town of Crested Butte below, surrounding mountains, and the ski lifts. There are only 28 units in the 5 story building with an elevator and it is a comfortable, homey place. Owners are friendly and the professional managers of the building are excellent. The Wood Creek is a neat and clean building with well-groomed landscaping and grounds. The building boasts many amenities: a covered loading/unloading area, -FREE WiFi, sauna, hot tub, lobby with comfortable seating & TV, plenty of off-street parking, laundry facilities, private decks, a gas grill, a larger community deck for groups,& a meeting/conference room. The free town shuttle bus stops right in front of our building. A great value...Luxury you can afford. Plus, you can't beat this great location!!!

It's about 1/2 block walk uphill to the lifts from our condo. It takes about 5 minutes in the summer.
West Wall Quad Lift - Walk 60 yards from the WoodCreek Condos and take the lift, skiing over to the Main Base in the winter.
Bus stops right outside the WoodCreek Condos. Takes about 5 minutes to ride to the Main Base year-round. Bus runs every 15-20 minutes throughout the entire year!

I attended Western State College in Gunnison many years ago & lived (& skied, and skied, and skied) in Crested Butte. I left & grew up.... When I finally returned to CB years later w/ my family, they, too, fell in love with the area & we purchased our first place at the WoodCreek Condos, in 1991. We raised our daughters coming out to CB in the summers and winters over the years. We love this area so much, we bought our 2 bedroom condo, here, at the Wood Creek in 2007!!! We hope you love this place as much as we do! It's our little "piece of heaven" with outstanding views!

Crested Butte was a real treat and the condo was very comfortable with great access to the slopes and town/ski shuttle! We look forward to returning for skiing as well as summer hiking, biking, and all that Crested Butte has to offer.

Stayed at this condo from Feb 27-Mar 5 2011. Couldn't ask for more--5 minute walk to the lift, condo with one bedroom and pullout sofa clean, updated with new appliances, granite countertops, floors and decorations, balcony with wood for fireplace, and big bathroom. 3 of us had plenty of room, two TVs prevented TV watching arguments. Couldn't believe we had daily maid service, first condo we've rented that had that and have rented many condos all over the world. Grill by hottub was great once we figured out it had a controller for the gas under the grill. Hot tub was clean and usually hot, at times could have been hotter if the cover had been kept on all day. The snow was great at Crested Butte and the skiing was excellent. Bus service to the base area and the town of Crested Butte means you don't have to have a car, though we did! An excellent stay! Communication with the owners was prompt and informative by e-mail and all questions were answered in a timely manner. Pick-up of keys at the Plaza Condominiums was no problem, just a bit away from Wood Creek.

Ron & Donna, Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us. It was convenient to catch the West Wall lift. we visited with friends around the West Wall fire pit everyday after skiing. Steve was very helpful at CB Sports and had us in and out in 15 minutes. Thanks for recommending the Secret Stash- it was wonderful. I would love to visit again in the summer and fish Spring Creek and Taylor Creek as I did as a teenager. Thanks for a wonderful week.
