What a wonderful and cute condo. Very comfortable and roomy for a 1 bedroom condo. Everything is very clean. The parking is great. We met friends on the slopes and told them to come by and check out the condo. They really liked it. We really didn't want to tell anyone about how nice the condo was because it may book up fast. David is great to work with on the reservations. David has worked very hard to make the condo nice. We're hoping to rent again.

A Central location (downstairs unit) in town with lots of parking near restaurants, shuttle, and stores. This condo is awesome! From the moment we opened the door, it felt like we were home. Owners did a great job decorating and fully equipping this place; so after a long day of skiing we weren't worried about getting some miscellaneous items from the grocery store - we just came home and relaxed. Thank you David and Debbie for providing such wonderful place! Your thoughtfulness and great attitude is highly appreciated! We are definitely coming back again and already recommended your place to our skiing friends! Sincerely, Lusine and Mike

An attractive and comfortable rental, at a great price. We stayed in the unit for about a week near the end of summer. The owner was always very helpful in his communications, and the pictures were very representative. If anything, the description failed to include some items which we were happy to find – coffee maker and toaster. The unit was clean and well-maintained, and very attractive. It was also very quiet. We took advantage of the wi-fi which worked well. We enjoyed the summer activities in Mammoth Lakes – fishing, biking, hiking, sightseeing, and even relaxing. The just completed bike path down from Horseshoe Lake was a treat. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I think the trolleys were going to stop service after Labor Day, but they were great.

We just stayed here for the second time (went up last summer too). Very comfortable condo for our family of 5. Great location and easy to get to Old Mammoth Rd where you can catch a trolly to go anywhere. Didn't use our car much at all! David is super easy to work with and very accommodating. I would recommend to anyone I don't know and have already recommended this place to people I do know. You can't go wrong renting this condo for a great base while visiting Mammoth!

We stayed here while celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. It couldn't have been more perfect! Clean, quiet, comfortable, delightful mountain decor. Truly a home away from home. David and his wife have done an outstanding job of creating a wonderful homey atmosphere. This condo has everything you could possibly need or want - there is even a crockpot so that you can be making dinner while out having fun. It is exactly as described in the information and pictures provided by David. There wasn't anything we wanted that we couldn't walk to - Vons, movie theater, shops, restaurants, fast food, transit system and - be careful! - the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Yummmm! David is very easy to work with and was immediately available when we had a couple of minor problems - one of which was caused by our own "senioritis" rearing its embarrassing head. David gallantly refrained from laughing at us even though we had to laugh at ourselves. The pool and laundry area were very clean and well-maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the heated jacuzzi. We spent most of our time hiking. Don't miss the trail to Rainbow Falls. While touring the area we were fortunate enough to see a Mama bear with her twin cubs and deer. We also enjoyed the historic Hayden cabin and museum - an amazing collection of pictures and artifacts from the area's history. If you are a pizza lover then you must eat at Giovanni's - good food and friendly service. We also recommend the Breakfast Club. They serve a terrific biscuits and gravy with biscuits the size of Mt. Whitney. (Well, almost.) Did I mention we loved our stay? : ) We hope to return in the near future. The nearer, the better. (Thank you, David!)

My wife and I stayed here last December, and loved the condo then. We stayed here again for a spring ski trip May 22-26, and the owners had done a lot of changes that made it even more awesome (new carpet, new keyless entry which was great since you don't have to worry about keys, etc). It is perfect for a romantic get-away. We thought this was a great deal the first time we stayed, getting a really nice condo for a very reasonable price, but it got even better with the recent upgrades.

David put a lot of pride into his condo and it didn't feel like a rental when I stayed there. Lots of Bears everywhere and next time I'll contribute a couple. Easy to set up with David and the keyless door code is convenient. Easy to find and plenty of parking space. I stayed in May 1st thru 5th and no one else other than his fulltime neighbor in the front unit was present. You can here footsteps and doors shut from next door so you have to be respectfull with the noise level. My only concern would be if the upstairs unit is also a rental and if so, the risk of a disrespectfull renter being right above you. On site manager would handle any situations if anything would even occur. I'm looking forward to the next trip and hoping the unit will be available. Thank you David!

David...thank you so much for your wonderful unit. Your condo remodel is delightful...from its large size to the super large screen TV to the remodeled rooms and bath to the detailed attention to your decorations["bears" were everywhere...a nice fun and family touch] . Everything was in order upon our arrival. The location of your unit in town is central to everything, and walking distance to the free bus to Eagle Lodge lift. I look forward to returning and am pleased to highly recommend your condo.

My wife and I stayed here the week before Christmas for our anniversary, and thoroughly enjoyed the condo. It was really clean, well taken care of, and had many amenities that you usually only see in more expensive units. The owner (Dave) was really good about answering our questions, and he obviously cares about his guests enjoying themselves. You get a great condo at a very reasonable per night rate. We would highly recommend this condo, and it was perfect for our pre-Christmas anniversary romantic ski trip. The unit is just a short drive to Eagle lift, or you can take the shuttle which stops really close to the unit. We will definitely stay here again.

This condo is so cozy and so well equipped that we spent most of our time indoors rather than exploring Mammoth! Nothing beats roasting chestnuts, corn, and marshmallows on a real wood-burning fireplace and at the same time watching the snow fall outside while being cuddled up on the sofabed and watching a great movie on a huge-screen TV!!! David (the owner) was extremely accommodating and responded promptly when we brought to his attention that the oven was not working. In less than a week's time he is replacing the old stove so now you will be enjoying cooking on a brand new stove! Highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a home away from home at a very reasonable price! We will definitely be back!

Wow, what a great place. Centrally located, great charm. The owner definitely has a tight grip on the concept of hospitality. The place is so well decorated and organized that you feel right at home. Have stayed in many condos in Mammoth, however the level of care is above and beyond even that of the overpriced new condos. This is truly a great find. Just sad that the discovery was made too late to early- book for the season. Thank you.

We stayed here from Oct 3-7, 2010. David was so accommodating and attentive that I really felt at ease arranging to stay at his place. We loved coming home to this cozy condo after a full day of being out in the mountains. Everything is clean and well-kept, the kitchen is well-stocked (they even have a slow cooker!) and just as you see in the pictures. There's so much to see and do in Mammoth and Eastern Sierra--this place is the perfect home base! Definitely recommended!

This condo is beautifully maintained and decorated and is very apparent the owners of this condo take great pride in it and have made it very warm and cozy. The pictures on the internet are a wonderful way to get a feel for it, but to be there, opening the front door, you immediately feel right at home. The decor is all about what Mammoth is, nature, beauty, wildlife, fun... The framed photography throughout the condo is absolutely beautiful. It was neat and clean and the kitchen has everything needed to cook meals. The pine log furniture is so beautiful and gives the place a very 'cabin' type feel. The bedroom is also very cozy and the TV's are a huge plus - very delux! This is such a nice place and rented at such a reasonable price! The location is excellent - close to the grocery store and restaurants. Plus there is a public transit stop right by the condo where the trolly can be taken to the Village, the Lakes Basin, Devil's Postpile, etc. There are so many activities within the area - hiking, biking, fishing, sightseeing, ... - something for everyone! I would definitely recommend this property to friends/relatives. The owners are very easy to work with and kept in touch at each step of the process and gave excellent directions to the place. They seem to very much want the stay at their condo to be a great experience. This wonderful condo met all my expectations and then some. With all the great reviews that have been written about it, the secret is now out about how fabulous it is! Thank you to the owners for sharing their home!

September 11-13 2010 To David, Debbie and family, My brother and I want to thank you for the short stay at your condo. We enjoyed the comfort and decor. (Particularly the bears, rustic furnishings and the great outdoor themed wall pictures.) Of course the large screen TV was an added bonus as the football season is just underway. There are so many things to do in the Mammoth area and our short visit was just not enough time to do all that we planned. (I think the large screen TV, comfort in the condo and the football games had a lot to do with it.) We certainly are looking forward to a longer stay in the future. We had a wonderful time! The whole family loved the condo and the kids didn't want to leave. They had fun playing game cube and made good use of the pool. The hot tub was definitely HOT! The condo is in a great location...close to shopping, dining and Vons. If you can, bring your bikes. It was easy to navigate Mammoth either driving or using the shuttles. There's a basket with information (maps, brochures, etc.) that came in VERY handy! It was nice to be able to relax and have "personal space" at the end of the day, even with a "full house".

I absolutely loved this place for such a bargain! Grocery, pharmacy and movie theater within walking distance. It's so cozy! The last day I enjoyed my morning coffee while watching the snow begin to fall. It was hard to leave! I'd never rented a place I found online before, but the owner was very easy to do business with. Everything I had questions about was either labeled (heater and fridge settings) or included in the rental instructions checklist. The driving directions to find the place are perfect. The place was very clean and well maintained and all cleaning supplies were stocked. Even if you arrive without a clue about what to do in Mammoth, you'll find loads of brochures, tourist guides and transit maps on the coffee table. Great location, great accomodation, well-equipped and at a great price! Can't wait to go back!

My fiancé and I have stayed at many condos in Mammoth, but this tops them all in price, cleanliness, and comfort. There is a lot of space to move around. The bathroom has two entrances, one for your guests and one for the private bedroom. I found that the easy accessibility to everything could be very helpful for my next trip, as I plan to take another couple with us. Also, if prefer staying in after a day of skiing or boarding, there is many board games. I love RISK, so I was super excited when I saw it was available. All in all, this condo is really great and you’d be missing out if you didn’t book a weekend.
