Great stay

Guest: Leelee (Bartlesville OK)
Date of Stay: 06/23/11 Review Submitted: 06/26/11

House was exactly as described. We spent 3 days in OKC for a wedding and it was so nice to have a central place for us to congregate. We have a grandchild and this house was so much nicer than staying in a hotel. Kitchen is well equipped. The master bathroom was beyond our expectations! When we were getting ready for the wedding the big bathroom was perfect for the girls to get their hair and makeup done!! We will definitely recommend this to anyone needing a place in Edmond or OKC.

This is an excellent home for any length of stay. Everything was as advertised and the owner was very helpful and pleasant. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood close to shopping and within 20-30 minutes of most area attractions. I highly recommend this house if you plan to visit the OKC area.

Great place for a family gathering

Guest: JM (Dallas, Texas)
Date of Stay: 12/26/10 Review Submitted: 01/23/11

We stayed at this wonderful house for a family gathering right after Christmas. There was plenty of room to gather in the living room and dining room. It truly felt like home and even had a Christmas tree! The downstairs master bedroom was perfect for my father-in-law who uses a walker. We appreciated having a separate fridge and freezer for all the food we brought in. I was surprised by all the little things we found for our use in the home (crock pot, wine cork, cookbooks, paperback books, etc.). Having wireless internet was great. The owner promptly responded to email questions before our arrival and was easy to reach by phone when the wall switch wouldn’t turn on the ceiling fan (it had a remote). Everyone was so impressed that I had found such a wonderful place!

A beautiful home away from home!

This home was perfect for our family gathering at Christmastime. The house is beautiful, clean, and outfitted very nicely, including an outdoor grill (had we known it would be 70 degrees in December, we would have planned to use it!). It's in the middle of a quiet neighborhood; the directions were spot on and we recognized it immediately from the photo in the listing. A major mall and other shopping is within 10 mins, grocery store about 1-2 miles away, downtown OKC about 15 mins - all of which we visited during our stay. We played games and ate meals around the dining room table and lounged in the living room for movies and conversation. Wireless Internet connection worked without a hitch. All interactions with the owner were positive, professional, and prompt. A great spot we hope to use again!

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood

Guest: TX Visitor (DFW, TX)
Date of Stay: 07/30/10 Review Submitted: 08/26/10

We stayed for a long weekend and it was great. Convenient to OKC but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Much better than staying in a hotel because we were able to all be together and eat in for some of our meals. The kitchen is great! The master bedroom is huge. If you were working on a short term assignmet in the OKC/Edmond area, it would be great because it has a very nice office upstairs. I've stayed at several VRBO homes, and this has been the nicest so far.

College Softball World Series Stay

Three friends and I stayed in this spacious home during the WCWS this past June. The house was well equipped and the one problem we had was remedied quickly with an e-mail to the owner, (slow master shower drain). It had a huge stainless steel gas grill on the patio which I greatly enjoyed using. We stayed six days and rarely ate out. We loved getting up in the morning and having our coffee while planning the days events or playing games. It was an easy drive to Hall of Fame Stadium. We also visited the Memorial by day and night. The Cowboy Museum turned out to be alot of fun and we were all entertained for at least 3 hours. We also visited Bricktown and ate at Toby Keiths' Bar. If I return to Oklahoma City I will definitly wish to stay at this home again.

OU graduation stay

Guest: maverick45 (Durant, OK)
Date of Stay: 05/14/10 Review Submitted: 05/24/10

We recently rented this wonderful home for a place to stay when our son graduated from Oklahoma University (two adults and four children). We were very pleased with the neighborhood and surrounding area. The house was very roomy and comfortable. Instead of going out for dinner, it was a delight to stay in. One of our nights we ordered pizza from Mazzio's and had plenty of room to eat at the dining table and visit and have fun together. Bricktown is not far away and our favorite place to dine is Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar and Grill" (which we did!). The restaurant adjoins Bass Pro Shop and we always like to go check out the store before leaving OKC. The home is very well maintained and clean. We loved using the front loading washer and dryer. We would certainly rent this house again in the future and we enjoyed our stay in the home very much!

I stayed at this Edmond house with my family (3 adults, 2 kids) over Thanksgiving. We very much enjoyed the house. It was very clean/tidy and the downstairs is quite spacious. The downstairs has a large master bedroom w/ master bath & closet, living room, dining room, coat closet, guest bath, kitchen, breakfast room, laundry room, garage. Upstairs is the office, two small bedrooms and a full bath. The master bedroom is huge with a large walk-in closet and large bathroom (double sinks). The whirlpool tub was big enough for both of my kids AND me. The kitchen is not too big, but big enough for us to bake a Thanksgiving turkey and a few sides/casseroles. There is a large refrigerator in the kitchen and a large freezer in the garage (just off the kitchen). Nice washer/dryer in laundry room just off the kitchen, as well (there was even laundry soap/dryer sheets there). The living room has a leather sofa, loveseat and TV, card games and board games in the cabinets, Wifi throughout. Big 2-car garage. The bedrooms and closets upstairs are small - great for your kids. The green space behind the house was nice - we saw deer back there in the mornings. We will definitely be staying in this house again. Note: Google maps will get you near the house, but it gets confused over all the cul-de-sacs in these neighborhoods. It took an extra several minutes for us to find the house thanks to Google. Not that big a deal but just a heads-up.
