From the cedar wooden beams on the ceiling of the main open plan sitting/ dining area to the rustic, terra cotta tiling on the floor this gorgeous Gaelic Cottage is reminiscent of a bygone age. As you enter the main hallway the twisted wood and Liscannor stone slab staircase sets the theme of the quirky , mingling of natural textural elements with practical , modern functionality. Its interior was designed by the creative synchrony of stone masons, ceramic potters and Artists and is a delight to those with an eye for relaxed, homely settings.
The walls, carpets and linens are light coloured cream, reflecting the airy brightness of the surrounding ocean views that perfectly whisper of solace and relaxation. The master bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite and King size bed and the large, traditional windows open onto spectacular views of the Famous Ring of Kerry with its incomparable mountain and ocean views.
A superbly equipped kitchen with everything for the discerning chef is a joy to work in and the old ceramic and stone brewery jars co-mingle with brass and copper kettles for that country cottage feel. This property exudes rustic charm.
