We live in Hickory NC just 50 mins from our Blowing Rock house. We have 3 boys ages 8 to 12 years. So as you can imagine our lives are very busy.
Why the Owner Chose Blowing Rock
We live 50 min from our home in Blowing Rock and love the area. We have found that we don't spend as much time as we would like in Blowing Rock as our boy's have gotten older so we want this beautiful home to be used instead of sitting empty.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Blowing Rock is a unique area with incredible views, cool temps in the summer - great for hiking and biking and wonderland winters for skiing and sledding.

My family spent Christmas in this wonderful home. We live in Fort Lauderdale and were so excited to wake up Christmas morning with snow falling. Just beautiful! The kitchen is fully equipped and the house is very comfortable and cozy. The owners were very responsive and took care of problems immediately. The refrigerator was not cooling properly upon our arrival and they had a new one delivered the next day, Christmas Eve! The location was extremely convenient to downtown Blowing Rock. Would love to go back.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
