Great place to go with young kids. My only complaint would be that the condo we stayed in did not have any kind of lock on the inside of the door. If you have a child that can open doors on their own they can just walk out. The bunk beds are right next to the front door, so every night we would just put a chair or something in front of it.

The condo was absolutely wonderful! Management company was great. The facilities were out of this world. The kids loved the beach and the pool. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed for the week. We loved the atmosphere!! Already discussing a trip for next year and would stay here again. A very enjoyable expirience!!!!

Having two young teenagers who always want something "different" to do, my husband and I typically spend our vacation the same way we spend our daily life.. Running....Not This Time! With all the Pool(s) Lazy River, Game Room, Beach, Volleyball, not to mention the DVD player(s) and WiFi in the condo, the kids could not decide what to do first, so we had plenty of time to just sit back an relax while they ran from place to place. Now about the condo itself, the layout was fabulous, the kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were unbelievably comfortable, the rooms were also very well decorated. I am a clean freak by nature and this condo has greatly exceeded my expectations both inside and out, I kid you not the staff even scrubbed the grills outside daily...sounds kinda silly but, when you like love to grill like we do that means a great deal. There are many great restaurants in the area as well as several fresh seafood markets for those who like to mix it up a little and do some poolside grilling. I must say we did not wonder from the complex very often but, we did get out a time or two and found some wonderful places to Shop. The Owners were Amazing, the information we were given was so informative that we had no questions and the condo/facility was so well maintained that we had no problems. I just can not say enough good things about this Condo, We would most definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wanted... The Perfect Vacation.

This was my second time to stay at this resort but first time in this condo. We had a fabulous time. From checking in to checking out, everything went smooth. The room was great. As the others said, the pictures don't do the views justice. The resort itself is shaped like a "u" and this unit is very close to the front and also on the coastline side so you don't have to worry about pool noise. If you have never stayed at waterscape, this resort is worth every penny spent. If you are debating on a particular unit, look no further! E-mails were returned very promptly and all my questions and concerns were answered as well. We had a great time and are looking forward to staying here again!

What a great family vacation. The condo was in a nice, safe quiet location, was very clean and had everything we could have asked for including a wonderful view. The condo was close to parking, pools and beach. Grocery store was very close. The facilities were Awesome....Very friendly and family orientated. Well maintained outdoor grills were a huge bonus and everything was clean from the beach to the bathrooms by the pool. Prices for food at poolside grill were very reasonable. Our 4 children were very happy and we only went off of property twice for entertainment/ dinner. Thank you for sharing your cplace and giving us the opportunity to share it! We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this unit. The condo was exactly as described and pictured. The owners were very friendly, and they responded promptly to my inquiries. Both the unit and complex were clean and well maintained. The pools were beautiful as was the beach. The workout room was nice as well. If we return to the area, we would definitely rent this unit again.

Since we had never stayed on Okaloosa Island, Fl or been in the Panhandle area this was all new to us. We could not have picked a better resort or location. We were thrilled with not only the condition of the condo as well as the resort itself -the location of it on the Island and the closeness to Ft Walton, Destin and Sandestin, the pools, work out room and the beach were all great. It was nice to be able to walk to several restaurants and night life. The view of the fishing pier and gulf is tranquil from this unit, since this is located on the quieter side of the resort. Would highly recommend this unit and this resort to anyone. There was plenty of room in the condo for not only ourselves but also our Daughter, Son-in-law and 2 grandchildren who surprised us with a visit.

The place was beautiful. I know it has been stated before, but the balcony and the master bedroom views are fantastic and the pictures don't do the view justice. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean. The owners were generous, trustworthy, friendly and efficient. Renting the condo was easy. We stayed the week after Christmas. Activities recommended: Relax...also we rented a pontoon boat and trolled around for the day up and down the sound and the Destin Harbor..True Blue pontoon rentals..new boats, great experience. We liked the Dancing Iguana in Destin..especially the salsa. We also liked a chain of sub shops called Firehouse Grill..don't have those where we live. Great shops and restaurants also walking distance on the beach. I would highly recommend this property and hope to come again myself!

We stayed back in September of 2010 and had a blast. The amenities there were enough that we didn't have to leave the condo except to get groceries. Beach every morning, pool every afternoon, wear the kids out, do it over again. We even got to see crabs and other marine life. The water was clean then (in light of the oil spill). The condo is well laid-out and the view is nice. Too bad I didn't find the extra towels until later on in the week (they were kept in the bathroom cabinets). The key cards were probably the only pain in the neck, but it appears that we get a door code now.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The owners are helpful and generous, and the management company is very communicative and just great all around! The view is even better than you see in the photos - they don't do it justice in the least! It's just a spectacular and relaxing view. You can HEAR the ocean! It's wonderful! I have to say this is the first condo I've stayed in where there were no maintenance issues, and no problems of any sort! It really is just well maintained and simply but nicely decorated. There's lots of storage space in every room, including the living areas, and the bathrooms have so much storage space I can't imagine utilizing it all!! The condo itself is conveniently located near multiple elevators and sets of stairs, and close to parking access and pool / beach access. The layout is great, and we love the bunk area. It's perfect for kids of any age, from toddlers up through teens and even adults! As has been stated in other reviews, the pool area is nothing short of spectacular. The kiddie pool is awesome, the pool on the second level is beautiful, and very relaxing, yet still welcoming to all ages. The main pool is a blast, of course, and we spent a lot of time there, and the lazy river is both relaxing and great fun! I can't find a single negative thing to say about the amenities at this condo complex. Everything is in close proximity to this condo. There's a restaurant (Fudpuckers) across the street, and just across the Ft. Walton Bridge, on the left, is Fish Lipz. I cannot say enough about that place. We went twice and I wish we could have gone even more often! Fantastic place. Great atmosphere for adults, teens, kids, anyone! It's also close to the pier and one of my favorite restaurants, The Crab Trap! Hey, any place that gives kids a bucket and shovel is A+ in my book! ;) Book your vacation stay here. You won't be sorry!

I just returned from staying at Waterscape and all I can say is WOW! I personally had never been a Florida person (I prefer the mountains), however this trip changed that. I was in bad need of a "getaway" due to a lot of built up stress and boy did I find the right spot! It was my intention to wake up early each morning in order to set on the balcony and read a book, however the view was so beautiful that I never did get around to reading much of my book! Each morning (and some evenings) I was able to watch dolphins play in the water directly in front of condo. Condo was beautifully decorated and well equipped with all the modern luxuries including plasma tv's. The pool/lazy river area was amazing. This condo is on the dune side away from pool, therefore the only noise you hear is the surf hitting the beach. Folks - this is the REAL DEAL! Grocery store right down the street and great restaurants within walking distance. I also have to give a shout out to Kenny D's restaurant in Destin which is just a very short and beautiful drive from Waterscape. Just like this condo - well worth its money and you will be back if you ever go once. I can't wait till my next trip! One last thing - NO OIL!!! - Do not let the national media fool you. Call the folks with Marko rentals at the numbers listed above - they will be honest with you.

My daughter and I stayed here 2 weeks ago and it was absolutely FABULOUS!! The pools were so beautiful and the lazy river was a nice change from the traditional pool fun. Fudpuckers restaurant poolside was a big hit, as well. The condo was extremely comfortable and the view from both bedrooms was great! We loved the balcony access from both bedrooms and living area. The kitchen had everything we could need for the week. Publix grocery just down the street made everything so simple. We had been told that the oil was there at this beach....that was definitely a rumor. Blue skies, clear water and fabulous beach service made for a great vacation! We have also stayed at this owner's second condo at Sterling Shores, which was an equally wonderful experience. We would recommend either property to our friends!!

As a prior Flight Attendant, I have done alot of traveling. This resort was absolutely beautiful and enjoyable for us all! The sand is white powder and spotless of any trash. There is a boardwalk by the pier about 2-3 blocks down with shops, restaurants and park. I have 4 boys and they loved the pools, lazy river and lilly pads to cross! It was so clean and had beautiful plants and flowers all around plus grills to cook lunch or dinner by the pool (My husband cooked out 3 nights), 2 Hot tubs, outdoor pool and workout room with the newest equipment. The pictures of the condo did not give it the justice it deserved! Absolutely beautifully decorated, spotless, and very spacious! The balcony went across the Master bedroom, Living room and guest bedroom. The condo had 2.5 baths but they were so big I could fit all 6 of us in each shower!!! There is a cute alcove area with a bunkbed and table for little ones to enjoy. 3 flat screen tvs to enjoy also. This is on the dune side of the hotel and I am actually glad that it wasn't on the pool side because it was quiet and I could sit and enjoy the ocean view and pier without the noise. I loved having coffee and breakfast and watching the sun rise too! One of the best resorts that I have stayed at in all my years of travel. I highly recommend this condo unit and resort. The owners(Chris) was very kind and we really appreciate them letting us use this condo to vacation at. Some sights that I recommend are: the Navy base to see the Blue Angels practice on Tues. and Wed. mornings at 8:30 (about a 45 min. drive on hwy. 10 to Pensacola) and Fort Barracus and Fort Pickens, the Air Force Museum ten minutes away, the town of Destin (5 min. away) has an Outlet mall, lots of shopping, watersports and restaurants. Very clean area and well maintained properties!!!!! Not very many spring breaks kids either!!! Thank you Chris God Bless you and yours!!!!
