  Not only a wonderful place to stay but more importantly, Rudy and his business associate Roberto were wonderful hosts that went out of their way to ensure that all arrangements happened without a glitch. They were so accommodating that made the stay incredibly relaxing. The apartment's layout, decoration and amenities were excellent (ex. cell phone, wireless internet, well stocked kitchen); felt at home right away. Specially inviting was the outside patio with all sort of beautiful flowering plants that made relaxing easy. The apartment's is located in a quite street that is close enough to many of Miraflores' attractions but far enough from the bustling of the city. Walking distance form the apartment you can find restaurants, movie theaters, bookstores, supermarkets, etc.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

  My daughter a friend and myself stayed in Rudy's apartment for 8 days. From the first contact, Rudy was helpful and considerate in all aspects. The apartment is lovely and in an ideal location to explore Miraflores and the rest of Lima. Rudy provided many tips and extra information including accurate maps for attractions, restaurants, etc., throughout our entire visit! Cesar provided reliable and safe transport to and from the airport and also gave us additional information about the area. Rudy's entire team was professional, responsible and friendly... really added to our stay in Lima! Thanks so much!!!

  My brother and I had the pleasure of staying in Lima for 6 days in May. Everything about the property was as we expected and accurate, very clean and inviting. We arrived in the evening and were met at the airport by our new best friend Cesar who drove us to the apartment, where we were met by Roberto. After Roberto showed us around the property, and got the paperwork done, Roberto kindly drove me to the fabulous Wongs supermarket so we could stock up on groceries. I was so good to talk to Rudy the next morning - he wanted to ensure that everything was OK. We made ourselves very comfortable, and found everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace, it was lovely to relax outside. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting from OS, the location makes it very easy to get a feel for the area.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

  Rudy's place was perfect for our 2-weeks stay in Peru, to visit our son, exchange student at PUCP for a year. We were picked up at the airport by Cesar, and met at the apartment by Roberto. Both were very welcoming, and made us feel instantly at home. Roberto took the time to take us to the supermarket the first night, for groceries, and showed us around the neighborood. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, very convenient, and visibly safe area. The apartement is located on a quiet street, so you won't be disturbed by the street noise. We enjoyed having the big terrace, so nice with all the plants, perfect to relax after a day of visits. And the table can be under a shade if it's too hot. Other convenients details : a local cell phone is included, very useful, and of course wireless internet. When we left Lima for a few day to visit the great places of Peru, it was very convenient to take only what we needed, and leave the rest of our stuff there, we also arranged with Cesar to take us to the airport, and back. Overall a great vacation, thanks again Rudy for all the care you've shown in making sure everything was ok, before, during, and after our stay !

  The listing information and pictures were very accurate. The apartment (really a small house on top of a two story house) was nicely furnished and had all the appliances that one could wish for, including an electric rice cooker! The cleaning services provided were excellent and the owner called several times. Every morning, I had breakfast on the terrace at a big round table right outside the door. I would describe the area as upscale residential. There are 2 supermarkets about equally distant (10 minutes walk) from the property, a natural foods cafe next door, a super French deli about 1.5 blocks away and many restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone in good condition (there are 2 flights of stairs).

  We stayed at Rudy's apartment for a week during the holidays. We are traveling for a whole year and we were looking for a place that felt like home for Christmas... We found it at Rudy's place ! We immediately felt comfortable in this very cosy and charming apartment. The kitchen is very well equipped, the place was very clean and nicely decorated. It feels like a home and it is much better than an impersonal hotel room. We were initially supposed to stay only four nights but we liked the place so much that we extended our stay to the whole week. Service was excellent. Rudy responded quickly to every email. Roberto and German were friendly and professional. A supermarket is at a walking distance from the apartment so it is very convenient if you want to cook your own meals. We really enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend the place ! Thank you again for everything !

  Picking Rudy's place made my trip-- not because the space was great, which it was, but because the service was INCREDIBLE. Rudy went above and beyond the call of duty and tracked down friends I had known in Lima over 30 years ago whom I had lost track of. First, the place: Very quaint, lovely, quiet and VERY clean, with a great terrace and a nice surprise of basic items in the kitchen. Tea and bottled water were waiting for us and we even discovered coffee in the cupboards, along with oil, salt & pepper for cooking our eggs. And, it's right next door to Helena's, supposedly the best chocolate shop in Lima, as well as Madre Natura, a great natural foods store and restaurant. A coffee shop serving Pisco Sours is right around the corner, and the place is within walking distance of downtown Miraflores. And, there are very friendly neighbors, living in Rudy's lower apartments, who offered to assist us if needed. In renting from Rudy, I have made new friends, in plural, because the people working with Rudy are incredibly sweet. Having Ceasar pick us up at the airport from our 11pm arrival made finding the apartment worry-free. and he promptly met us in the early morning hours to catch our flight to Cuzco. And Roberto, a friend of Rudy's family, who goes over the contract upon arrival, greeted us like old friends. He even drove us our first night to a near-by place for Pisco Sours because he said it was nicer at that time of night than the corner place. (A short walk back.) Rudy let us keep a few things there when we left the city for our trek and, upon our return, not only did Roberto happily meet us so we could retrieve our things, but he offered to drive us to our next event (a bit of a distance), and refused to take any money for gas. I exchanged inumerable emails with Rudy before our trip and he was incredibly kind and accommodating. I can't thank him enough for all he did for me. You can certainly find cheaper places to stay in Lima, but they don't come with the family-feeling you'll get in staying at Rudy's. What a trip!!

  My wife and I stayed at Rudy's top-floor apartment during our honeymoon in Miraflores. The location is excellent and Rudy was more than hospitable in every possible way. He was always available and his associates, Cesar and Roberto, were extremely helpful as well. I can't recommend this apartment enough. During our stay we also got to view the downstairs apartment, which is quite large and extremely comfortable as well. You can't go wrong staying here during your trip to Lima.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

  Renting this apartment really made our trip that much more enjoyable. I was visiting my daughter who is going to school in Lima. The apartment allowed us to spend so much more time together. It was a pleasure dealing with Rudy and his assistants in Lima (A special thank you to Cesar, Roberto and German). The apartment was exactly as described and very well maintained and very clean. The terrace was wonderful for late evening dinners. Miraflores is a great district to walk and from the apartment we strolled to Park Kennedy and to the Ocean. There is a great 24 hour restaurant right around the corner which we frequented often for the anticuchos. Lacomar is short taxi ride and a great place to dine and shop. In fact we visited most of the districts and after a long day sightseeing, it was a pleasure to come back to the apartment and relax. Even though Rudy lives in France, he was accessible and prompt in responding to any questions. He arranged a driver for us, made sure we had a local contact for any immediate needs and kept in touch throughout our stay. I would highly recommend any of the three units he has available.

  Excellent terrace for breakfast each morning, organic food store adjacent, 5-min walking radius includes French bakery, Starbucks, and large supermarket. I took a taxi down to Larcomar area nearly every day and had a nice 30-min stroll to get back to the apartment at the end of the day. Nothing but good things to say about Rudy (excellent host!) and his apartment.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car.
