This five bedroom house boasts one of the largest pools and decks of any house in the area. (This pool cannot be heated and is covered from fall until spring.) Ten miles of Kiawah's pristine beach is only a 10 minute bike ride away! The cedar shake roof is one of the amazing luxury features of the house. Offering views of the Kiawah marsh, this home is located on an acre home site within The Preserve and across the street from a vacant lot owned by the Nature Conservancy. Residents of The Preserve have access to the community boathouse and crabbing pier. The marsh view is the focal point of the living room where windows stretch toward the soaring ceiling showcasing marsh views, three sets of sliding glass doors open to the veranda, and French doors lead to the screened porch. Columns, built-ins, and a wet bar also highlight the living room. Featuring granite countertops, a long center island with vegetable sink, wine cooler, and storage, as well as a six-burner Wolf range, a Bosch dishwasher, and a stainless steel Maytag refrigerator, the kitchen is both stylish and functional. A breakfast room offers dining with a view, and a formal dining room is perfect for entertaining. The master suite with king sized bed opens to the pool deck and the screened porch, while showcasing beautiful views. It also features a walk-in closet, large dressing area, and a bath and separate shower with stone flooring and dual granite vanities. The second floor features three guest rooms with marsh views, one with a queen bed and two with two twin beds each, and two baths with granite vanities. An additional guest suite/den with 3 sleeper sofas and 2 twin beds is located above the garage and has a private bath as well.WiFi access available. Rates may change prior to booking and do not include fees and taxes.Non-refundable damage waiver fee of $45 will be charged for each reservation.

I loved the opportunity to have a baking extravaganza using the beautiful Wolf range and ovens. We made cream puffs, eclairs, and coffee cakes. The home provides much privacy if one needs to get away from the crowd. The porches are wonderful. The only suggestion is to provide higher grade sheets, they were just ok, and could have been better. Our time together was wonderful. The home is located in a very quiet setting. We loved it. The fit and finish of the house give it away to be a builders house rather than a custom house. Decor via pier one. There were maintenance items like the trim of the microwave sticking out and potentially endangering anyone who wasn't aware to towel bars falling apart in the master bath, knobs falling off cabinets, minor things. It suited our needs well, however, and we had a great time at our function. It reminded me how nice it is to rent rather than own. Tell me, does kiawah encourage the alligators as tourist attractions? The pool and grounds guys couldnt have been better and the place was spotless when we arrived. Had a great time with 8 adults and 9 children in the house. Didn't feel cramped and each family had their space. Children enjoyed the pool which was perfect for their age.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Loved everything about the home, could not have asked for more. All of us would love to return to experience it again. The only complaint would be the bug bites outside and Mother Nature controls that. Loved our stay. Children all said lets go to the beach again and not go home. Perfect beach for children, perfect pool for children.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
