Welcome to our Virginia Beach North End Web Site for the amazing vacation home 208 Unit B 56th Street. Available year round.
Ensure that you get your 2010 vacation plans set by reserving now! (The home was fully rented in 2008 and 2009.) Half of the weekly rate is due at time of reservation, and full payment is due by March 30th for all reservations that start in May thru September 2010. For reservation covering dates before April 30, final/full payment is due 90 days before your stay's start date.

You will be very comfortable and very near about 150 short feet to the sandy ocean beach - while staying in this spacious, upscale three-Story, townhouse-style home. This home is in the fun North End section of the Virginia Beach resort area, with access to the beach a very short walk away. The boardwalk area is about a 10 min walk or 5 min beach bike ride from the home. The convention center is about a 5 minute drive. The Norfolk and other Navy bases are all within 20 to 30 minutes drive. This home has the best location!
In addition to all the beach resort attractions, be sure to check out all the local golf courses, the great music venues nearby including the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, and the Busch Gardens and local amusement parks.
You'll like the very soothing Laz-Y-Boy furniture, decor and the original artwork.
The home has honey hardwood flooring on the main living level (Kitchen/DR/LR), and has carpet and tile in other areas. Both of the large covered decks/porches - that you can see (in the photo of the building exterior) belong to this home.
The beautiful home interior is very well furnished with lovely furniture, and has all the important kitchen equipment with a dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, etc. The home has a full size clothes washer and dryer.
There is off-street parking for up to three vehicles (parking for several vehicles is hard to find in resort areas of Virginia Beach, so this is a Real Plus for our guests!).
The home is very spacious and all of the 3 bedrooms are large in this home! A King size bed, 2 Queen beds (1 Queen is a beautiful sleigh bed in a room with a beautiful tropical "surf" decor - and the other Queen bed is of tropical bamboo in a "Key West" bedroom) and 2 Single size/ fold away beds and 3 1/2 big baths are provided to make up to 8 friends and family feel right at home. The mattresses are very comfortable.
Sink into the Laz-y-boy leather couch and leather and fabric chairs (including a recliner in the master suite). Enjoy the lovely hardwood floors in the 3rd floor living room, dining area, powder room and the kitchen. Luxuriate in the bamboo "Key West" style furniture in the first floor bedroom, and enjoy the other beautiful furniture in the other rooms.
All three bedrooms are beautifully furnished and EACH HAS A CABLE TV. The master bedroom, a Queen BR and the family room have DVD players. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a lovely armoire for additional storage. The kitchen on the third floor is large and is fully-equipped. The spacious dining area seats eight people at a wood table. See the lighthouse lamp and huge palm tree in the living room area. Enjoy lovely better than beach house decorating in the home.
The decks/porches have (between them) a tables and comfortable chairs - and they are located off the third floor LR and off the large second floor MBR.
The master suite has walk-in closet and a jetted "spa" bathtub (and separate shower). Each bedroom has it's own private bath.
Enjoy all the Virginia Beach resort amenities without the noise of a hotel. Two beach bikes are available for you to explore the back roads next to the beach and ride into the resort area. It is an easy walk to the beach. Beach chairs and a few beach toys are provided.
The attached garage is primarily for storage or for motorcycle and beach equipment. The private, fenced driveway is behind the home gives ample space for your vehicles (up to three vehicles).
This beach home is rented on a weekly basis. A summer week's stay is from Saturday (3-10PM check-in) thru the following Satuday (10 AM checkout).
Fall, Winter and Spring week check-in day of the week can vary from Saturday.
Please call or email to book now! When you are ready to reserve, call or send your name, mailing address & phone numbers - which we will use to create a rental agreement for you to sign and return with payment (you may pay by personal check if you are renting a date that is at least 60 days after you send the check). PayPal credit card and check payment is also available (and is required if there is less than 60 days until your reserved vacation date).
Cancellation policy: guest must deposit 50% of rental price upon reservation (deposit to occur within 1 week of availability confirmation by owner's email to you). The initial 50% of rental price is non-refundable, but the owner will make reasonable efforts to re-rent the week on guest cancellation. Final payment (of remaining 50% of rental price and security deposit) is due by PayPal or personal check by March 30th for May thru September reservations - and are due at least 90 days before the start date of the reservation for off-season rentals.
Note that rental prices given on this listing are your total cost excluding the security deposit (the total cost includes rent and all applicable taxes and cleaning fees). There is a refundable security deposit of $300.00. You may pay by PayPal - the owner will send you a link, if you request PayPal payment type.

- Air Conditioning: Full central air conditioning with 2 zones. One zone for bedrooms is controlled from the King Master Bedroom. The zone for the living room/dining area and kitchen is controlled from the living room.

- Garage: Garage has very limited turning radius at the entrance, and so only a motorcycle is recommended to be stored in the garage. Garage is used to store provided beach bikes (2), beach chairs and water/kids toys.

- Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer: A small RV could be parked at the right side driveway of the home. RV should be no wider than a Ford Expedition.

- Queen Bed (2) : Bed has comforter and pillows. One queen suite on the 2nd floor is a sleigh bed and the 1st floor suite has a large bamboo/Key West bed.

- Crib: Pak n Play foldable sleeping bed for baby - to be repositioned/reassembled by guests - and used at their own risk. Is stored in a closet in the home until guest assembles.

- Ocean View: You can see the entrance to the beach only from the front of the home (unless the trees next to the porches blow the right way to allow a view of the oceean past those trees from the porch! The trees grew!) - beach access is about 150 feet away. Limited view, but lets you know how very close you are to the waves!

- WiFi (Wireless Internet): Local hot spots are available. A cable modem is in the home for internet access.

I chose this vacation rental because it is a very short walk (a few minutes) to the ocean and is close to all the resort attractions. Also, I really like the 2 covered porches facing the backyard of the home - with the leafy tree making each porch feel like a private tree house.

This home is beautiful and my family was very comfortable staying here while building our new home just up the street! We'd love to find another blender like the one you provided - my mother used it constantly!
