We had a great stay - the rental was very close to the beach and in a very nice quiet area. The rental had extras like dvd's, books and games to keep the kids occupied which I thought was a nice touch. Communication with Cathy went very smooth and the deposit was returned quickly. I would highly recommend this rental!

The townhouse was amazing, beautiful and wonderfully located. It was so easy to get to the beach (3 minute walk), the boardwalk, grocery stores, restaurants...etc. Very family friendly and quiet. It was nice that every room had it's own bathroom. The decks were very relaxing. The parking area great too because it was behind the townhouse and not on the street. We are hoping to make spring break at this townhouse a yearly trip! Owner was also very easy to work with.

The townhouse was a wonderful, comfortable place to stay in Virginia Beach. We had two separate families traveling together for the Virginia Beach Marathon. The layout was perfect to give everyone space and privacy and still have great areas to cook and spend time together. The balcony was a relaxing spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a nightcap. Located not far from the beach, convenient for the marathon, and not too far to walk to the boardwalk. The house was just as it was pictured, well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Virginia Beach.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The townhouse was very bright and spacious and it is very well located. We also appreciated all the little extra items that make your stay more convenient. Cathy is extremely helpful--a real pleasure to deal with.

This was a beautiful house, well taken care of and nicely decorated for the beach. The kids were able to use a lot of the beach toys supplied, the adults used the bikes at the house, the Kitchen had everything necessary to make dinners, grill and blend some adult beverages. We were able to enjoy some of the dvds that are kept at the house and had an overall excellent experience!

Excellent stay in well furnished home. Met family needs very well for 2 months of temporary military housing. Will tell other military in need of short term rental housing. (phone call)

Stay here only if you like to work while you are on vacation. We've stayed in rentals in San Diego,California; Hot Springs and Eureka Springs, Arkansas; Newport, Oregon, Paris, France; and Wintergreen, Virginia. Never during all those rental experiences were we ever expected to make our own beds or clean our towels and linens!!! And, when it came to cleaning the place, the place was either automatically cleaned by maid service after we left or we were given the option of cleaning it ourselves or paying for it. This place does not even give you that option. Our flight came in very late and we arrived to a very cold place where the heat was completely turned off! And, then we had to scour the place looking for sheets to make our beds! It was horrible. The next day there was a plumbing issue and we had to wait for the plumber to come and repair it only to find out the plumbing problems were because the place had been left vacant for so long. The owner never apologized for our inconvenience and even did not return our deposit until an entire month after we left ---and even then we had to call her and request it. I have never had to leave a bad review for a rental, but I could not let this go. I would hate for someone else to make the same mistake we did. There are too many other rentals available in VA Beach that I'm sure are much better. I will say that the place is very pretty and clean and has a nice, spacious floor plan. Under better management I'm sure it would be a good place to rent.
Owner response:We are pleased to offer a vacation home stay experience. Please check all the other very positive reviews. We were very surprised by this traveler review, as we allowed them to modify their stay dates at the last minute when their flight was changed. Our team responded quickly to their question about noise in the plumbing. We sent a plumber to check the home, and he reported there were no problems at the home. We have maid service that cleans the home thoroughly after each stay. Our other guests have been very happy and our home is fully rented each Summer.

Last minutte rental turned into absolute find!! We had a very last minute, many person, vacation plan pop up and had heard of vrbo through a magazine. This was actually the first property that popped up on our list in virginia beach. We had read through alot of them but kept coming back to this property. What a find, so thrilled we went with this location. It had everything, if you think you need it on vacation, this home had it. Location, convenience, accessiblity, comfort, you name it and it relates to this home. Will definitely use it again in the future. I actually had people, after they saw my photos, ask me for the info so they can possibly use it as well.

My brother and his two college-age boys stayed here in late August of 2007 and loved it! The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen fully equipped, and the entire house is very nicely decorated.....it felt more like a "private home" than a "rental property!" The two bicycles (w/ cable lock) were worth their weight in gold, since the two boys could hit the boardwalk every evening without having to be chauffeured or having to borrow the car. We'll probably be back next year!!

OUR FAMILY ENJOYED STAYING IN THIS LOVELY HOME IN JUNE-07. WE LOVED THE DECOR AND THE ROOMY OPEN FLOORPLAN. WE ALSO LOVED THE DECKS THAT OFFERED PRIVACY TO READ AND STUDY IN SUCH A PEACEFUL SETTING. THE BIKES WERE USED DAILY, THE BEACH WAS REALLY NICE AND EASY TO GET TO. THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO AND EVERYTHING IS SO CONVENIENT TO THE HOME. THE KITCHEN WAS WELL EQUIPPED AND THE ROOMS WERE NICELY APPOINTED. THE OWNER WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE SURE WE GOT THE CONTRACT AND KEYS IN PLENTY OF TIME. JEANNIE

This home is beautiful and my family was very comfortable staying here while building our new home just up the street! We'd love to find another blender like the one you provided - my mother used it constantly!
