Beautiful condominium, recently renovated, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, sleeps 4 - 6 people, living room, dining room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, extra large sunny terrace with barbecue grill and partial ocean view. A garden area, communal swimming pool, tennis court and parking area are also located on this private and secure complex above Marina del Este.

This condo is a 12 minute walk or 4 minutes by car from the beach. Location is less than one hour from Malaga and Granada airports and about an hour and a half from Almeria airport. Our beautiful La Herradura bay is a perfect place to spend your relaxing holiday vacations.

La Herradura is a small village nestled on the Mediterranean coastline of Granada province. It lies between the world renowned Costa del Sol to the west, and the coast of Almeria to the east. The nearby mountains boast the highest peak in mainland Spain, and help form a natural weather-break and provide the area with an extraordinary favorable climate. The sun shines 320 days a year. Average temperatures ranging in spring at around 22ºC (70 F), summer 32ºC (90 F), autumn 22ºC (72 F) and in the winter at 20ºC (68 F). The ocean temperatures vary and average between 24 C (75 F) in the summer and 17 C (63 F) in the winter.

Many restaurants and tapas bars are located on the scenic Paseo Andrés Segovia with the Chiringuito La Sardinia situated right on the beach and appropriately named, after its catch-of-the-day barbecued sardines.

La Herradura is a perfect location for enjoying all sorts of activities: water sports, tennis, horse riding and countryside excursions. It is also known for some of the best underwater scenery along the southern coast. The bay provides some of the best dive sites, located around Punta de la Mona. Its sea history brings a home to 25 Spanish naval galleons that were wrecked in a storm October 19th, 1562.

The Sierra Nevada ski resort is only an hour and a half drive away. The ski resort is open from December to April every winter.

"Andrés Segovia" International Classical Guitar Competition to be held in La Herradura every November.
