This is a classic, 1961 mid-century modern home with over 2200 square feet, that has been renovated with modern amenities, and is the perfect hang-out for comfort and relaxation. Entertain at the poolside dining table, curl up in the Togo sofa around the gas fireplace, or sink into the master bed, with the sounds of crickets to lull you to sleep..
The house is located in the non-windy, Deepwell neighborhood - one of the original Palm Springs neighborhoods, on a beautifully landscaped property. It's decorated white terrazzo and cork floors, a unique curved living room wall, modern artwork and furniture, new appliances, HD TV and PlayStation in separate TV room, and an ultra private backyard surrounded by palm trees.
You'll admire the stunning Mt. Jacinto views from the dining room, living room and pool area. Relax outside at the poolside loungers with extra large umbrellas, eat al fresco, float in the saltwater pool and relax in the attached Jacuzzi. Because the house is located in the south end of Palm Springs, you can enjoy the outdoors with much less wind than the northern neighbors. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.
It's the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Why the Owner Chose Deepwell
My husband and I have always loved visiting Palm Springs from Los Angeles, and would always rent a mid-century house when we vacationed here. When this property came on the market, we fell in love with it, and decided to buy in order to always have a home in a place we love. Even as part-time visitors, we've gotten to really know the area and our neighbors, and we cherish every second of relaxation we get here!
